365 Days of Color - Make Me Laugh-y Taffy

Hello Everyone!! Today I have a gorgeous shard glitter and jelly pink polish to show you!! Make Me Laugh-y Taffy by 365 Days of Color.  I think that name is SO cute!!!  I love that the shards are a rainbow of color!  They applied very nicely and laid flat too!

For this mani, I used 2 coats with Wicked Fast top coat by Cult Nails.  Since the pink is a bit jelly-like, I think this would look really cool layered too!  Unfortunately, this color has been discontinued.  However, at the 365 Days of Color shop, there are some other AMAZING colors that you can choose from!! You can see updates, swatches, and upcoming polishes on Facebook and the blog by Sunny, the owner, http://www.365-days-of-color.com/.

I love how these shards reflect!  Sunny has a few other shades using shards in her shop!  They are very lovely!  If you like this style, be sure to check out Old Time Movie - black & white shards (which I have and will review soon!), Birthday Bash - similar to this but in a white base, Deadly Attraction - neon yellow with black shards, and Now in Technicolor - silver and purple shreds!  Some look to be sold out, but watch 365 Days of Color's Facebook for shop restocks!

I hope you all have a great day!  And to my sweet hubby, Mr. CC - Happy 9 years together today!!!

Much Love,
Crystal

Fantasy Fire/Ringer and White Glitter Giveaway! (OVER)

Hello Everyone!!

Update!!!  Here are the updated prizes!!! See below for the Rafflecopter!!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  You may have seen from my Instagram (which I also upload to Twitter and Facebook), that I have quite a few people supporting me and my blog.  I want to take today to thank you all for your generosity and kindness that makes this a very enjoyable adventure.  I have met so many amazing people along the way and am honored to have your support.  As a thank you, I would love to send some of my gratitude your way by means of a giveaway!

I feel pretty strongly about not doing a giveaway to gain numbers.  I would rather you be here because you like my blog and what I have to show you.  I do want to thank those that have been here to bring me to where I am now, which is why I have decided to do a giveaway.  I don't mind if new people want to join in the giveaway or if you want to tell others, but please know that is not my main goal! :-)  My goal though, is to bring everyone together.  What I mean is that I have some people on Instagram, others on Twitter, some on Facebook, etc.  So I'd like to bring them all here, where the posts are created and where I list all the pictures, descriptions, and purchasing information.  I realize I am very active in posting the Indie brands and it can get confusing where I get them from.  I always try to list the information, because I want you all to enjoy them as much as I do!

So to make this easy, all you have to do is follow the blog via GFC, including your name that you follow under :-)  Please let me know if that is an issue for you, and I can find another way for you to enter.  Since this is my first giveaway, please bear with me as I learn how to do this!  I hope this is fun and easy ;-)

Since it is no secret that I have such a love for white polishes, I want to share them with you!  The first prize will have Dollish Polish - Expecto Patronum, Lush Lacquer - Birthday Cake and Max Factor -Fantasy Fire.  The second prize will include The Hungry Asian - Belle, 365 Days of Color - Cotton Candy, and Max Factor - Fantasy Fire.  The third prize and possible fourth prizes are being worked on, and I will update this post and the Rafflecopter giveaway immediately once I know!  I feel like I am not the only one that likes these colors, based on the responses I received from my posts and pictures! :-)

365 Days of Color - Cotton Candy

Hi Everyone!!  So today I have 2 of my favorite things - a white polish with glitter AND Cotton Candy!! hehehe!  I love love love cotton candy!  (And Sprinkles too)  But this polish is just SO much fun!  Maybe I am a kid at heart, but I love how these glitters poke through the white base!  This is from a new to me Blogger/Indie brand - 365 Days of Color named Sunny.
I remember seeing a few of her polishes before and wanted to get my hands on them, so I was extremely excited when Cristina, of Let Them Have Polish, posted on her Facebook about Sunny's new shop!  You can find it here, http://www.365daysofcolorpolishes.bigcartel.com/.  I believe she still has all the colors available (what are you guys waiting for!?!?), in both mini ($4.50) and full size ($8).  I definitely have a few more on my list of hers, so I can't wait to order more!  I bought this and Old Time Movie, which I will show you guys later!
Cotton Candy applied nicely with 2 coats.  I did dab a little bit to get the glitter where I wanted, but that wasn't a problem for me and a lot of glitters are that way.  I did notice that with the white, less brush strokes are definitely better!  I was able to even it out in the second coat though, and absolutely love the layered effect that it gives the glitter.  I used 1 top coat of Seche Vite to finish the look.  I honestly think this might be another great 4th of July or Memorial Day mani (a bit early), don't you think?  I just love Red, White, and Blue!

I like this pic below because it shows how truly glossy the Seche Vite made the mani!  The white doesn't really pick up that gloss in the other photos.  I loved the way it looked!  It was a nice bright white, which I am extremely excited to wear this summer (with hopefully a tan!!!)

Just looking at the pictures and my nails makes me smile. I've mentioned before how I love to associate names to memories, so this polish is no exception!  My friends at work love to tease me about my constant need for Cotton Candy :-) hehe  And I am pretty sure you are all catching on how much I love white polishes with glitter.

Plus it is definitely no secret that I love Indies/Frankens.  One of my favorite parts about finding a new shop is learning more about the creator.  If you are interested in reading more about Sunny, you can check out her awesome blog here, http://www.365-days-of-color.com/

I hope you enjoyed this little sweet taste of Cotton Candy!  For the full effect, make sure to stop by here to get your Cotton Candy Full Size!!

Much Love,
Crystal
