Black Cat Lacquer!

Hello All!!  Today I have some gorgeous Black Cat Lacquer polishes to share with you!!  Sabrina, the owner, sent these to me to review for you. I was so excited because I've seen a lot of these shades popping up around Instagram and such, and I absolutely love them!

You can purchase Black Cat Lacquer HERE on Etsy.   For updates and promotions, follow Black Cat Lacquer on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!  I actually just bought 3 beautiful ones with the Easter sale of 25% off of $25 or more!  So keep an eye for deals ;-)

We all know I love my pictures, so here we go!  First up - Dark Side of the Moon!

For Dark Side of the Moon, I used 2 coats along with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

This polish is amazing!! I love the black stars, diamonds, and circle glitters!  The little pops of green are so beautiful and the white base has a gorgeous shimmer through it!

Sabrina's description: There is no dark side of the moon really. Matter of fact it's all dark. But you can stay in the dark with Dark Side of the Moon! Dark Side of the Moon is a shimmery creamy base filled with all things dark in all shapes and sizes!

Close up!  You can see some of the shimmers!!

Next up, Lucky Star!

I started with two coats of OPI Mod About You (a favorite of mine!!).  This is an older picture in the shade outdoors.

Next, I applied 1 coats of Lucky Star and topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I just love the pastel glitters!  There are also some iridescent glitters and some that flash blue!  So beautiful!  There are starts in light teal, purple, and pink, along with other glitters in the same colors.  Perfection!

You can see the bottle with the blue and iridescent glitters!

Sabrina's description:  You can be the luckiest by far now when you fall for Lucky Star! Lucky Star is a beautiful combination of pink, lilac, aqua and iridescent glitters of all shapes and sizes!

A delicious close up!

Are you ready for this jelly?  Here is Bloody Kisses!

For Bloody Kisses, I used 3 coats along with 2 coats of KBShimmer Clearly on Top because I *needed* this to look deep for you guys :-D  How'd I do?  hehe

Jellies are so so much fun, so I wanted to make sure you could really see the glitters suspended!  And extra top coat to make it a glass finish.  You could also easily layer this over black, but you might lose some of the depth.  The beautiful glitters float through this base and a few have a bit of holographic-ness (that's a word, right?) to them!

Sabrina's description:  Inspired by one of my favorite albums/songs, Bloody Kisses is made of a sinister black jelly base with an array of blood colored glitter.

Close up!!

Next, we have Sanitation Twins.

I'm ready for summer, and we've been having warm weather here!!!  So I went for a bold orange for this base!  This is two coats of OPI A Good Mandarin is Hard to Find.  SO glossy!

I then layered 1 coat of Sanitation Twins along with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

What a fun fun mix of glitters!! There is a bunch of colors along with a gorgeous shimmer!  Also, lots of different sizes of hexes and some bar glitters!

LOVE Sabrina's description:  We're here to tell you all about the new recycling bins! Cardboard & newspaper, blue! Plastic & aluminum, black! Yard waste, YELLER! Coffee cup sleeves, orange! Stir sticks, brown! Cups, periwinkle! Lids, fuchsia! Lipstick lids, rose! Broken umbrellas & broken hearts, canary! Lotion, chartreuse! Lotion bottles, green! Fingernails & eggshells, cobalt!

Close up!!

Last, but certainly not least, here is She's In Parties!

This is one coat by itself.  I love the simple look that reminds me of balloons!!  A top coat would smooth this a little, but since I was adding another coat, I left it. ;-)

Close up!  This would look awesome layered I bet!!  It would make any mani look like a party!

I added a second coat of She's In Parties along with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Does anyone else think this reminds them up the movie UP?  Maybe it's because @Madamluck on Instagram recently did an UP mani, but these look like the balloons! Right?

Sabrina's description:  It'll be in the can once you try on She's In Parties! It'll be a graveyard scene with this gorgeous combination of a glitter explosion in a creamy shimmery base.

LOVE it!  Close up!

I hope you enjoyed this look at Black Cat Lacquer!  I hope to swatch the others I got during the sale soon!

Guest Post - Elissa from Ten Little Nubs!

Hi everyone!! I have an exciting guest post today!  It is by the lovely Elissa from Ten Little Nubs.  And she is using a gorgeous Black Cat Lacquer that has been on my list, Let Them Eat Cake (not only is the name amazing, I'm drooling over these pastel glitters)!  OH! And don't miss Black Cat Lacquer's sale for 25% off of orders over $25 until 3/31, using the code "Easter25".  I'll let Elissa take it from here!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey guys! My name is Elissa! You might remember me from my old blog Lissa's Polish Addiction, but I have recently started my brand new blog, Ten Little Nubs!
I'm so excited to be guest posting for Crystal today! :) I love her blog! Crystal is also guest posting on my blog today so be sure to check out her post!
Today I decided to do a spring-esque mani for Crystal's blog because all of you on the other side of the world are currently getting ready for spring (or already in spring) but here, in Australia, we're getting ready for autumn! Haha.
I started off with a base of China Glaze Something Sweet. It's a really pretty pastel pink. I will definitely need to add some thinner to this polish, though, because it was extremely thick and hard to work with for me.
I topped that off with 1 coat of Black Cat Lacquer Let Them Eat Cake which is a clear base with blue, green and pink pastel hex glitters as well as some white microglitters and some small holographic glitters too. Like the China Glaze polish, Let Them Eat Cake was a little thick but not too difficult to apply.
Hope you enjoyed this mani! Have a great day!
