Frankenstine Polish - Kel Loves Orange Soda

Hello Everyone!!! Mr. CC & I met with the trainer of Coda, our German Shepherd last night. It sounds like he is acting out because he wants dominance and after just 10 minutes of the trainer working with Coda, he was acting a lot better!! I know it will still be hard work, but I'm glad we're getting onto the right path with this to correct his behavior!! Yay!!
Today we have Frankenstine Polish with Kel Loves Orange Soda!! What a gorgeous jelly!

For this mani, I used 3 coats of Kel Loves Orange Soda and 2 coats over a black creme for the accent finger.  I topped it using KBShimmer Clearly On Top top coat.

There is a beautiful shimmer through this along with white glitters, orange large hexagons, and holographic bar glitter.

You can check out Christine, the owner, Facebook page for swatches of other colors! She is also on Instagram as @christineambrosia and has swatches there as well!! Here is some info on her ordering!
Until I get my online store up and running, you can place polish purchases directly through me. You can send me an email to frankenstinepolishes@earthlink.net. I can ship polishes to anywhere...or, if you live close, you can pick up or I can drop off!
Polish Prices: Mini bottles are $4.00 each (I only have mini bottles of my colors available at this time). Shipping: $3.50 & Up (depending on amount you order due to weight). Here are some bedroom lighting photos!  Look at that shimmer!

So if you guys remember the show Kenan and Kel from Nickelodeon, this is where the polish name comes from, LOL :-)

I hope you enjoyed this look at Frankenstine Polish!!

Have a great day!

Much Love,

Frankenstine Polish - Dexter

Happy Valentine's Day to you, all my loves!!!  If I'm being cheesy, I think that all of you are my Valentine!  Or should I ask, Will you all be my Valentine?  :-)  It is part of the reason I wanted to have such a nice giveaway for you all!!  So enjoy the day my lovelies whether you have a significant other or not, you have me!! ;-)

Ok ok, onto today's mani!  I want to start out by saying, Christine, the owner of Frankenstine Polish, let me know she was sending this polish called Dexter, based on the show.  I honestly don't know a ton about the show, but have always heard such great things!  I might try to catch up, since my iPad has all of the seasons available OnDemand!  So cool, right?

So I love how it's a red and white polish (I'll explain later if you don't know the show), and decided since today is Valentine's Day, that I would do a light pink base.  I eyed Cult Nails Enticing, since it's such a pretty shade.  I thought it would be girly to have the light pink and red and white glitters.

So one perspective of this mani is to see it as a nice pairing with pink for this day of Love!

For this mani, I used 3 coats of Cult Nails Enticing, and 1 coat of Frankenstine Polish Dexter, topping with Wicked Fast by Cult Nails.

So then I started thinking to the Dexter cover I always see around....
Then Enticing started to remind me more of skin that pink, because I'm fair skinned (I didn't realize how tan he was, lol!).  So to me, this mani does look blood splatter on skin, which is what Christine was aiming for!  So cool right?  So now do you see this mani completely different after I said that?  Or am I the only one that doesn't watch Dexter? haha

So please don't tell me anything about it!  I want to be surprised! ;-)  I did the same with True Blood, where I knew basic things about the show, but not enough about the story line.  Mr. CC and I went through all the seasons at once, which was so fun!

Any way I look at this, I think the mani is a winner!  Dexter applied perfectly with the one coat.

You can check Frankenstine Polish on Facebook for swatches of other colors! Christine is also on Instagram as @christineambrosia and has swatches there as well!! Here is some info on her ordering!

Frankenstine Polish - May The Schwartz Be With You

Happy Happy Friday!!  If you follow me on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram, I mentioned a giveaway!  Depending on the weather later tonight, I will try to do my nail art idea and post pics with the giveaway items!  Otherwise I will have it up on Saturday some time!  This is just a thank you for all of the love, support, and kindness!  I really appreciate everything and am beyond flattered by all the positive feedback I receive!!

Today I have another Frankenstine Polish to show you!! This is called May The Schwartz Be With You based on the movie Spaceballs.  This is a parody that makes fun of Star Wars and other movies.  It has been SO long since I've seen it, but I think it's available OnDemand, so maybe I will watch it this weekend! lol

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaceballs
Here is a quick clip from the movie!

I started with 2 coats of Orly Au Champagne, which is one of my favorite whites/off whites.  It has a satin finish to it.

Next I applied 1 coat of May The Schwartz Be With You with no top coat.  The base is thick, so I didn't use a top coat for photos.  To keep the glitter looking great, I do recommend a top coat though!

I am in love with this combo! And I can't even take credit for it, because it was Mr. CC's idea! lol  I was going to do a gold base, but he said to just do white!  It stands out SO much better over Au Champagne!  Way to go Mr. CC!!

May The Schwartz Be With You is gold and black hexagons of medium and small sizes, with smaller holographic hexagons!  The holographic glitters weren't able to be picked up on as much through the photos, but in person they are beautiful!

You can order this beauty by e-mailing Christine, the owner, at Frankenstinepolishes@earthlink.net.  For more swatches and information, you can check out her Facebook page and she is also on Instagram as @christineambrosia.  She has some beautiful polishes!! You can see my previous post of I Invented Post Its!

I love this photo to show the gorgeous holographic pieces of glitter that sparkle!  It is so much better in person though!

Yum!

I hope you loved this combo as much as I did!! Also, did you guys notice that time is flying, because it's almost October!!  Oh and don't forget to check back for my giveaway!!!

Have a wonderful weekend!!

Much Love,
Crystal

Frankenstine Polish - Creature From The Black Lagoon

Today I have a very special Frankenstine Polish to show you!  This is a very limited, hard to find color.  I am SO glad I was able to try this, as it is absolutely amazing!  It's almost like instant galaxy nails!!  At least that's what it reminds me of!  If you are lucky enough to have a chance to snag this beauty, I would highly recommend it!  I think it will look great layered over lots of colors!

I chose to layer this over Cult Nails Awakening.  This is two coats.  EEK! I just went to http://www.cultnails.com/ and just found that Awakening is retired.  So if you have it, you are lucky to have this beauty too!  Sorry if you don't :-(

I then took 1 coat of Creature From The Black Lagoon with 1 coat of Seche Vite.  Oh my, do I love this glitter!! It has so much mixed it!! I see white, black, green, blue, gold, and bar glitters in a teal jelly base.  Most of the glitters are iridescent too, sparkling in the light.

Normally you can order by e-mailing Christine, the owner, at Frankenstinepolishes@earthlink.net.  However, since this is limited, I'm not sure if she will have these available.  You can check out her Facebook page for swatches of other colors! She is also on Instagram as @christineambrosia and has swatches there as well!! She has some beautiful polishes!!  You can see my previous post of I Invented Post Its and I will have another one on Friday!  Again, I apologize that this is HTF, but maybe you will get lucky like I did!

These pictures show some of that amazing glitter!  It reflects beautifully and looks so bright in the shade!  Like it is glowing!!

I hope you enjoyed this look at another Frankenstine Polish!!  Have a great day!!

Much Love,
Crystal

Frankenstine Polish - I Invented Post Its

Post Its - again?  Yes, you guys know I love them, and that is why I am excited to sneak them into today's post.  But it makes sense, I promise.  Also, who doesn't love matching nails to their office supplies? hehe

Here is Nubar Lemon Sherbet with 3 coats topped with Seche Vite.  As much as I wanted to get away with 2 coats, I just couldn't because it was a tad streaky.  If I had maybe done a thicker first coat or just taken more time, maybe, just maybe, I could have gotten it to two coats.  I do love the outcome though.  Um, hello!!?  It matches the Post Its perfectly!!!! hahaha

Now, here is the reason why there are these Post It shots everywhere, I layered 1 coat of Frankenstine Polish - I Invented Post Its over Nubar Lemon Sherbet, topped with Seche Vite.  I Invented Post Its was created for the movie: Romy and Michele's High School Reunion.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/2/2e/Romy_and_michele_s_high_school_reunion.jpg/215px-Romy_and_michele_s_high_school_reunion.jpg

Here is a quick scene from the movie from YouTube of where the name of this polish came from :-)

So now that we have all that background, on the movie, how about a look at the polish!?!  I just LOVE this combination!!!

You can order this beauty by e-mailing Christine, the owner, at Frankenstinepolishes@earthlink.net and check out her Facebook page for swatches!  She is also on Instagram as @christineambrosia and has swatches there as well!!  She has some beautiful polishes and I will have 2 more to show you next week!

I Invented Post Its has pink and blue glitters with holographic bar glitters and mixed in a gorgeous shimmering base that has micro glitters of blue and pink!  It is SO beautiful.  And over this yellow, is another favorite combo of mine now!  I couldn't stop staring at my nails!  It made the yellow creme look so boring without it!

The shimmer was so hard to capture - you must believe me that it is better in person!

I took a few indoor lighting pictures too, hoping to capture it.  Luckily above you can see the bottle and how yummy that shimmer is!! ;-)  Inside I noticed a couple of the bar glitters glowing in the photos which looked cool!

And finally, hello you beautiful macro...thank you for showing your irresistible shimmer!!!! Plus you can kind of see the holographic bar glitters too! YUMMM!!!

Well, I wish I did invent Post Its.  I will just have to continue to use them and match my polish to them :-D  I hope you enjoyed this look at Frankenstine Polish too!  This was my first time using this brand and I really liked the application!  The glitters went on great and the mix was beautiful!

I hope you all enjoy the day!!

Much Love,
Crystal
