Imperial Nail Lacquer - Which Dirrrrrrection?

Hello Everyone!! Today I have another pretty from Imperial Nail Lacquer!!!  This one is called Which Dirrrrrrection?  You can find this on Etsy at Imperial Nail Lacquer's shop in a mini - Which Dirrrrrrection? - for $5.00.  Full sizes are also available for $9.00.

I used 1 coat of Which Dirrrrrrection? over 2 coats of Zoya Kiki and topped it with Seche Vite.  You can see my previous post of Kiki swatched HERE!!

A little more information from Kelly, the owner.
This is a listing for my franken "Which Dirrrrrrection?" It was originally inspired by One Direction but later on, it started to remind me of Dr. Seuss. So, I came up with the name "Which Dirrrrrrrection? to let you decide which direction you chose. This polish is made from a smoke free home and it is also big 3 free. I do recommend a thick top coat because this polish is very bumpy because of the glitter. **This is available in FULL SIZE (15mL)**
**UPDATE #1** THIS POLISH NO LONGER CONTAINS WHITE BAR GLITTER****

I love all the mix of glitters!  I couldn't decide what to layer this because I think this would look great over any color!!!  This polish has small pink, blue, and lime green/yellowish glitters, then small white hexagons, a bit larger blue hexagons, medium purple squares, and red shards!  It's like a surprise birthday party on your nails! ;-)  You do get a different look for each nails and the glitter applied really well!

Yum!  I love seeing all these yummy colors up close!  I think the hot pink worked well with this, but I also had idea of this over a nice purple or teal!  Could be fun to mix & match!! ;-)

I hope you all have a great day!!

Much Love,
Crystal

Wet n Wild Magnetics and Imperial Nail Lacquer Dandruff

Hello Everyone!! I have a rather large post today, but got a few colors to show you as well as a comparison!  I hope you enjoy!!

First up, I have Wet n Wild Magnetic polish Don't Break the Circuit.  I was in love with the shimmer of this one, but unfortunately, it isn't as noticeable on the nail :-(  This is 1 coat with no top coat.  It applied extremely well and is opaque with one coat.  I like to lay a base first for my magnetic polishes (that is what other brands suggest).

I then painted a nail and quickly magntized it using the cap.  I find that the polish dries quickly, so it is best to paint one nail at a time and magntizing right away.

For me, I found this magnet was difficult to use.  It might be because I'm so used to Nails Inc. with their little ridge to prevent getting to close to the nail.  I found you have to get close but still make sure you don't bump your nail.  My pinky got bumped if you notice below.  For different angles of the lines, I tried turning the magnet slightly.  I went to apply Wicked Fast and only ended up using the top coat for my ringer finger and as you can see, it somewhat ruined in the magnetic look.  I suggest waiting fully for the magnetic polish to dry before adding a top coat.

I picked this up from my local Walgreens store for $4.99.

I then layered 1 coat of Imperial Nail Lacquer Dandruff over top.  I finished it off with Seche Vite top coat.  I love the magnetic lines coming through the white glitter.  I also really liked the combination of the darker blue with the bright white.  It really made the glitter pop!

You can find Dandruff on Etsy from the shop Imperial Nail Lacquer.  A mini is $5, but you can also request this in full size for $9.

Next I tried Wet n Wild No-Gas Electrically Charged magnetic polish.  This is a sort of grayish-black color with a green shimmer that in some angles also looks purple.  A duochrome magnetic?!  YES please!!  Now again, I was a tad disappointed because the bottle was better, but it still looked cool on the nail.  This is 2 coats with no top coat.  I probably only needed one, but I think my nails had a ridge to them or something so I just did 2 coats.

See that green shimmer!?
Here is a quick comparison of the Wet n Wild magnet vs. the Nails Inc. magnet.  As you can see, Nails Inc. has that little nub that you rest just above your cuticle, allowing the magnet to get close without touching.

I decided to use the Nails Inc magnet on my pinky and middle fingers and use the Wet n Wild magnet on my index and ring fingers.  You can see where I bumped my nail using the Wet n Wild magnet.  I felt like I couldn't get a good magnetic pull without getting it extremely close to the nail, which then the slightest movement caused me to touch the magnet :-( lol  I might just stick with the Nails Inc. magnet to make my life easier, because I do really like both of the magnetic Wet n Wild polishes!  The shimmer in this turned out fantastic!  I really like it.

Next I comparied Lynnderella Love, Lace, and Lilacs to Imperial Nail Lacquer Dandruff.   Here are a few bottle shots.  You can see the Lynnderella has a finer glitter throughout, but otherwise they are pretty similar.

I used 1 coat of Lynnderella Love, Lace, and Lilacs over my ring and index fingers.  I placed Dandruff over my middle and pinky fingers.  When looking at these two compared and over this base, I actually prefer the way Dandruff stands out.  The Lynderella is beautiful too, but to me it isn't as bold because of the finer glitters throughout, almost giving it a blizzard look. (I should not be thinking about snow already!!)

Again, the Wet n Wild magnetic polishes should be at local drug stores.  I found mine at Walgreens.  You can find Dandruff on Etsy from the shop Imperial Nail Lacquer. A mini is $5, but you can also request this in full size for $9.

I hope you enjoyed today's long post!!! I know it was a long one lol :-)

Have a great day!

Much Love,
Crystal

Imperial Nail Lacquer - Toothpaste

Hello!  Can you believe August is almost over!?  I know time flies, but this summer has gone SO fast!!!  Today I have another polish from Imperial Nail Lacquer!  I think this one is so cute because the name is perfect!  It does remind me of my toothpaste!

You can check out Imperial Nail Lacquer on Etsy. You can find Toothpaste  listed for $5 for a mini, or you can request a full size for $9.

I used 3 coats for this mani (no top coat).  It is very sheer and you can see a few spots where I didn't apply it that well because I was messing with the glitters.  I kept the bottle upside down for a few minutes before painting to make sure those gorgeous white square glitters would mix around.  I used a dabbing method to get them onto the nail.  I like how this looks, but if you prefer less sheer, layering over a light blue would give you opaqueness.

I love the light blue jelly base!  I don't think I have any bases like that!  And the white squares mixed through give it that fun extra!  I use Colgate Max Fresh with breath strips for my toothpaste :-)  It is a brighter blue, so maybe I will layer this over a darker blue and it will look just like my toothpaste!!! hehe

I hope you enjoyed this look at another Imperial Nail Lacquer!! Make sure to check this out on Etsy - Toothpaste.

Hope you have a great day!

Much Love,
Crystal

Imperial Nail Lacquer- Cupcake

Hello!! Today I have one of my favorite colors - a white with glitters!! This beauty is from Imperial Nail Lacquer and is called Cupcake!  And it does look just like frosting with sprinkles - I want to eat it up!!  You can check out Imperial Nail Lacquer on Etsy.  You can find Cupcake listed for $5 for a mini, or you can request a full size for $9.

I love the different types and sizes of glitters.  The bright colors make this look happy like a celebration to me!  Then mixed with the creamy white base, you can see the layers of glitter!

For this mani, I used 3 coats of Cupcake with 1 coat of Wicked Fast top coat by Cult Nails.  The polish applied very well, but I recommend letting it sit upside for a minute to grab some of the bigger glitters!  Most came out without a problem though.  I love how you never know what you'll get on the brush when you dip into a glitter polish!  No two nails will look the same and it gives such a fun look!

I love this bottle shot!! it looks like candies and sprinkles!! YUM! ;-)

And here is a close up.  The formula is nice and smooth!  Overall I really loved the colors in this white glitter!!! They are bright and with the white look creamy when applied!

I have more reviews coming from this shop!! I can't wait to share them with you!  Hope you enjoyed Cupcake!!  Make sure you head over to Etsy to check out more of Kelly's amazing polishes at Imperial Nail Lacquer.  She has a couple new Halloween ones that look amazing!!

Hope you have a great day!
Much Love,
Crystal
