Whimsical Ideas by Pam - Peanut Butter and Jelly

Hi Everyone!! Happy Friday!!!! :-D  I cannot believe May is almost over, where did the time go!?  I am thankful for summer though!  I really want to get to the beach more than last year!

Today I have a gorgeous polish by Whimsical Ideas by Pam.  I found her polish because I started seeing color Seuss pop up on blogs.  I fell in love with all her colors!  I was so glad to be able to buy Peanut Butter and Jelly, even though I'm not a fan of Peanut Butter (I know, I know - just can't do it!).  But I still love this color and am thankful it doesn't smell anything like PB!!! LOL

You can find Pam's Facebook page HERE!  Here is her about me section:
nail polish is $10 per bottle. if you would like to place an order, please email me at pea422000@yahoo.com. i will put you in the queue and invoice you asap. currently, i am only shipping in the US.

I am sorry to tell you International Ladies that she only ships in the US :-(  For those ordering, it does take a little bit, but don't worry!  She will get your order to you!  She probably has a ton of orders coming in (since these colors are stunning), so just give her a week or so to get back to you!  She also posts updates on her Facebook for progress.  She has always been very informative about the orders, you recieve your invoice when your polish is ready and she ships as soon as you pay.  Very simple and I've enjoyed buying from her!  I just love her bottles and labels and bows!!

Under the picture on her Facebook wall, Pam wrote: "my latest creation is called "peanut butter and jelly".  i worked all afternoon to mix the perfect shade so it would look just like grape jelly."  And that it does!  It is a beautiful jelly polish with gold glitter of hexagons and smaller gold glitters floating throughout.  For these pictures, I did 3 coats with 1 coat of Wicked Fast.  I did originally have on 2 coats, which looked great!  However, I type a lot all day and easily get tipwear, so I threw on another coat for pictures.  It made it a bit darker, so I would say it just depends on what shade you are trying to achieve!  2 coats might be a raspberry or strawberry jelly, 3 coats would be more of your grape jelly :-)

Another interesting caption from Pam's Facebook on this picture was a fan/customer asked how she did this, as in creating polish.  Pam wrote: "It's a combination of art and chemistry...with more chemistry than i expected. i thought it would just be like mixing paint, but it's not...if you put glitter into paint, you wind up with painted glitter. the challenge is to get the glitter to still shine and to get it to suspend so that all the glitter doesn't sink to the bottom."  I just love that!  Thank you for your hard work Pam - you do amazing work!!!

Is anyone else hungry now?  I am, hold the PB though ;-) lol  Another reason I love Whimsical Ideas by Pam is because she has mentioned more than one on her Facebook page that every polish she creates, the name has special meaning to her.  It refers to either someone or something that she knows and loves!  I love that too :-)

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and if you're in the US, enjoy the long weekend!!

Much Love,
Crystal

Whimsical Ideas by Pam - Seuss

Hi everyone!!  Does this nail polish remind you of anything...?

http://cdn-www.cracked.com/articleimages/ob/seuss/cat-hat-book.jpg

I thought so too ;-)  Isn't this polish amazing!?  I fell in love when I saw pictures.  I immediately checked out Pam's Facebook page, HERE, which has tons of gorgeous colors listed!  The only problem is trying to decide what to order!!!!

She takes orders by e-mails, pea422000@yahoo.com. Once your order is complete, she will send you an invoice for you to pay her on PayPal. Her polishes are $10 each, plus shipping.

Unfortunately, she did just post this on Facebook in regards to International Orders on her Facebook page, sorry ladies :-(
many have asked about international shipping, and i'm completely torn on this. recently, i have not done any international shipping because of the lack of tracking numbers once a package leaves the US. i have been relatively lucky so far, but the stress of the unknown once a package leaves the US weighs on me. one of the reasons that i invoice the... way that i do is that i do not want to take your money unless i know that i can ship product in a timely manner. that being said, if anything should happen to your package in international shipping, it would break my heart. i hate to say; "once it leaves the US, i won't be responsible", but that is difficult, as well. the truth is, thought, that if your package is lost in transit, it is a bad situation for me and for you. i do not want anyone's money if they don't get product in return, but postal mistakes are out of my realm. i am very careful when shipping, but even with US orders, a simple typo on my part can route a package to parts unknown (um...rhonda...i'm thinking of you, here). ;) in addition, should there be an error in your order, it is easy to correct it in the US, but because of the price of shipping internationally, a simple mistake on my part can cost too much to make it feasible.  i hate to make this decision, but unless i can find a solution for this, i will not be shipping internationally. i am so sorry and i wish i didn't have to make this decision.

Seuss is a blue with blue shimmers, silver hexagons, and red smaller hexagons.  It applied extremely well, with glitters easily coming out of the bottle and on to the nail.  Pictures are shown with 2 coats and Wicked Fast top coat by Cult Nails.

Whimsical Ideas by Pam - My Friend Carol

Hi!!!! I'm glad Monday is over - was in meetings all day!!  So glad I had this beauty on though!!  So elegant yet captivating!  I went to put in on Sunday night and did 2 coats.  It was sheer.  At first, I thought - I could never wear this - you can see my nail line (whatever it's called - I'm so tired writing this haha).  But anyway, then I started typing Monday's blog.  The more I looked down at this color, the more I fell in love.  Let me tell you - I am not really a sheer polish wearer - but this color has changed me!  I threw on 2 more coats (so if you're counting - photos have 4 coats of My Friend Carol and 1 coat of Wicked Fast Top Coat) and these nails were as glossy as could be.  I absolutely loved this on my nails all day.  And rethinking it, I may have been able to wear it as two coats!   I honestly didn't mind the sheerness that I did at first.  Look at me, turning a new leaf!!  hehe

Ok, so you get it, I love the polish.   I swear I haven't had a polish that I didn't like yet.  I mean, if it's sheer, then I layer it.  If it's thick, I can always thin it.  If it's bumpy, Seche Vite it till it behaves...haha Anyway, now I'm a sheer wearer, so maybe I'll flirt with that some more!

And you want to know where to find these and more...Pam has a Facebook page called Whimiscal Ideas by Pam, that you can find HERE.  Seriously check out her other colors.  Even if you're not really in love with this, she has some amazing creations!  I'll eventually show you Seuss and Saturday Morning Cartoons, but hope to get Peanut Butter & Jelly and many more!  She takes orders by e-mails, pea422000@yahoo.com.  Once your order is complete, she will send you an invoice for you to pay her on PayPal.  Her polishes are $10 each, but shipping.  I believe she ships everywhere?  But you must talk with her about it!  I hope that helps! ;-)

Oh! And this polish is a sheer, milky white with pink hexagons and micro shimmer, that are foil like and catch the light.  It is very subtle and beautiful!

What's that?  You want to see a lot of pictures...OK!!!!

This picture is just for fun - because well, look at how amazing those clouds are!  It almost looks like my background is fake, right? haha I was so crabby yesterday, I didn't even notice how nice it was.  Shame on me.  I had a nice bath, talked to some girlfriends, and watched Gossip Girl (you know you love me, haha) and felt much better though!  Today will be a better day!

Hope everyone is doing great!  Hope you enjoyed the many picutres!  And I hope you'll check out Pam's amazing creations!  She is so talented!

Much Love,
Crystal
