The Hungry Asian - Bar Fight

Hello Everyone!  Hope you enjoyed the weekend!! :-)  I didn't make it to the beach :-(  But I was able to relax, read, and watch a movie with Mr. CC!  I have been waiting to watch In Time again (we saw it in theaters) since it came to DVD!  It was finally available on one of the movie channels (HBO I think), so we watched that yesterday afternoon.  That is one of my favorite movies!!  Not only because Justin Timberlake (*swoon*) is in it, but because the concept is just awesome!  I liked everything about it!  Glad to finally rewatch it!

Today I have a gorgeous polish by The Hungry Asian, called Bar Fight (how cute is the little smiley face with the X over the eye! lol!)  This is a black jelly with blue glitter.  I layered 2 coats over 1 coat of ManGlaze Fuggen Ugly (matte).  I finished it off with a coat of Seche Vite to give it some gloss!

You can purchase this and many others from Kae on Etsy, http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheHungryAsian. Regular bottles are $9.25 and minis are $4.50.  Also, she regularly updates her Facebook and her blog, http://www.thehungryasian.com/.

I love The Hungry Asian polishes!  Kae is awesome at quick shipping and adorable packaging!  I can tell she puts a lot of love and effort into her products!  I highly recommend her shop, especially all the unique colors she has to offer!  I have been eyeing a few others, so I can't wait to order! ;-)

I hope you all have a great day!

Much Love,
Crystal

The Hungry Asian - lots of swatches!

Hello!  I have a bunch of The Hungry Asian swatches to show you today!!! You have probably seen Belle already, as it is listed in my giveaway!  You can enter the Rafflecopter HERE!

You can purchase these from Kae on Etsy, http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheHungryAsian.  Regular bottles are $9.25 and minis are $4.50. She regularly updates her Facebook and her blog, http://www.thehungryasian.com/.

Belle is a gorgeous white jelly with small pink hex and medium black hex glitter.  I used 3 coats for the pictures with 1 coat of Seche Vite top coat.  This color is actually named after Kae's dog! :-)

Cookies & Cream is another white jelly but with small speckled black glitter!  It applies very well and the pictures are shown with 3 coats, no top coat.

Zera is gorgeous!  I love dusty grey-blues!! The pictures are shown with 2 coats and Wicked Fast top coat.  Here is Kae's description:
"Zera is a grey creme with a subtle green shimmer. Shown above is 3 coats. As many of you know, I'm a huge Starcraft fan so this color is inspired by one of my favorite characters, Zeratul. He wields green swords which is where the hidden shimmer comes from. Nerdy I know!"

Here is 1 coat of Twenty Ten (pointer/ring) and 1 coat of Sea Creature (middle/pinky) over Zera.
Kae describes Twenty Ten:
Twenty Ten is small square red glitter, microfine and small blue hex glitter in a sheer black base. This color was one of my first ever made, it has had a few versions over the last couple of years and I am quite happy with this final one.
Kae describes Sea Creature:
Sea Creature has medium holographic bright blue hexagon glitter, small black glitter with fuchsia and green superfine glitter in a lightly blackened base.

I hope you enjoyed a bit of Hungry Asian spam!  I fell in love with my order and actually ordered more to try!  I still have to post Sneeze Breeze too!  I love the quality and creativity in these colors!  Kae ships very quickly and she wraps her packages SO cute!

Again, you can purchase these from Kae on Etsy, http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheHungryAsian. Regular bottles are $9.25 and minis are $4.50. She regularly updates her Facebook and her blog, http://www.thehungryasian.com/.

I can't wait to play more with Twenty Ten and Sea Creature!!
Have a great day!
Much Love,
Crystal

Fantasy Fire/Ringer and White Glitter Giveaway! (OVER)

Hello Everyone!!

Update!!!  Here are the updated prizes!!! See below for the Rafflecopter!!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  You may have seen from my Instagram (which I also upload to Twitter and Facebook), that I have quite a few people supporting me and my blog.  I want to take today to thank you all for your generosity and kindness that makes this a very enjoyable adventure.  I have met so many amazing people along the way and am honored to have your support.  As a thank you, I would love to send some of my gratitude your way by means of a giveaway!

I feel pretty strongly about not doing a giveaway to gain numbers.  I would rather you be here because you like my blog and what I have to show you.  I do want to thank those that have been here to bring me to where I am now, which is why I have decided to do a giveaway.  I don't mind if new people want to join in the giveaway or if you want to tell others, but please know that is not my main goal! :-)  My goal though, is to bring everyone together.  What I mean is that I have some people on Instagram, others on Twitter, some on Facebook, etc.  So I'd like to bring them all here, where the posts are created and where I list all the pictures, descriptions, and purchasing information.  I realize I am very active in posting the Indie brands and it can get confusing where I get them from.  I always try to list the information, because I want you all to enjoy them as much as I do!

So to make this easy, all you have to do is follow the blog via GFC, including your name that you follow under :-)  Please let me know if that is an issue for you, and I can find another way for you to enter.  Since this is my first giveaway, please bear with me as I learn how to do this!  I hope this is fun and easy ;-)

Since it is no secret that I have such a love for white polishes, I want to share them with you!  The first prize will have Dollish Polish - Expecto Patronum, Lush Lacquer - Birthday Cake and Max Factor -Fantasy Fire.  The second prize will include The Hungry Asian - Belle, 365 Days of Color - Cotton Candy, and Max Factor - Fantasy Fire.  The third prize and possible fourth prizes are being worked on, and I will update this post and the Rafflecopter giveaway immediately once I know!  I feel like I am not the only one that likes these colors, based on the responses I received from my posts and pictures! :-)

The Hungry Asian - Strawberry

Hello!!!  Does this color look good enough to eat!?!?!  This is Strawberry by The Hungry Asian!  You can find her shop on Etsy, HERE!  And her Facebook is HERE.  Kae sells her mini bottles for $4.50 and the full size for $9.25.   Unfortunately she is out of this particular color at the moment, but she does have A LOT of other awesome colors, with more coming it looks like!! YAY! ;-)

I love how jelly-like this polish is!  It just looks so juicy and just like a strawberry!  How simple of an idea, yet so positively perfect!  I just love it!

I received this polish from my good friend Marisa!  We did a swap and I'm so excited she picked this one for me!! ;-)  Check out her awesome blog at http://www.marijonails.blogspot.com/

I applied 2 coats very easily and used 1 coat of Wicked Fast as my top coat.

Outside, cloudy
Well, we've been having some dreary weather here!  I am hoping tomorrow is sunny!  I suppose at least the grass is extremely green from the rain ;-)  That's always nice!  But now I need to get gardening as everything is growing waist high! LOL  I get these same weeds every year - it's like they come back just to haunt me! No matter what I do...any tips?!  LOL  I tried Preen...ummm that gave them extra force - it was a nightmare haha

Hope you all have a great day!!

Much Love,
Crystal
