This polish is great with two coats. I could possibly even get away with one coat. The shimmer in this polish is gorgeous, almost looks reddish. It reminds me a lot of wood grain, especially with the way the back label looks. I threw a coat of Seche Vite over it and it really brings that shimmer alive!!
And like I usually do, I did a Matte vs. Glossy! I personally love this look because it's shows the beauty of the polish both ways. Plus it's subtle and interesting.
So I wore my Matte vs. Glossy for a day and while shopping, found a gorgeous new glitter called Cougar Attack by Spoiled. Spoiled is a brand by Wet n Wild and I believe it's exclusive to CVS. So I got home and decided to try one coat over my current mani. It turned out completely awesome and I loved it! The glitter in Cougar Attack glows! It's a copper glitter in a brownish jelly base. My only complaint is that their brush is huge! I took a picture below. I guess I'm just not used to working with those types of brushes, but at least the polish went on pretty well. I do have another Spoiled to try soon too. I believe it's a dupe for Deborah Lippmann Ruby Red Slippers. Cougar Attack seems to also be a dupe to Deborah Lippmann Superstar. I don't have either of those Deborah Lippmann polishes, but just from looking at swatches, I think they're fairly close.
I love this lighting in the picture below. It shows how amazing this glitter is! The way it shines in the light. It was fun and I can't wait to try it out with other base colors to see how it looks!
I hope you enjoyed my pictures! Hope you all have a great Monday! I'm jealous if you're off today ;-)
Much Love,
Crystal
