GIVEAWAY (over)!!! Sephora - It's Real - Real 18K Gold Top Coat

Hello Everyone!!! Today I have a gorgeous gold leaf top coat to show you!! I found this on clearance at my local Sephora located inside JC Penney!!  Originally, I believe this Real 18K Gold Top Coat was $30, but I was lucky enough to snag two at $8 each!  So I thought I would share and give one away to my lovely readers!!  The Rafflecopter is at the bottom of this post!!  And a big thank you to the girls  on Instagram - @lovehart86 and @allforus - for telling me about this awesome deal!!

I started with 2 coats of ManGlaze Santorum.  I've done a previous post on this, but figured my I paint better now, and you'd like to see better pics :-) haha  I could have almost got away with one coat, but I liked 2 to make sure I had even coverage.  Santorum is a gorgeous brown matte with red shimmers in it!   You can purchase ManGlaze in a few places - http://manglaze.myshopify.com/, Amazon, and Facebook.

Next, I applied 1 coat of Sephora by OPI - It's Real - Real 18K Gold Top Coat and topped with Seche Vite. ManGlaze is no longer matte now, but look how amazing it looks glossy under the beautiful gold leaf!! I am loving this combination!!!

The gold seems to be staying mixed very well too.  I will post my Cult Nails version tomorrow, but the gold in that sinks since the Wicked Fast top coat isn't a suspension base.

In the shade, Santorum looks darker, but it is still a beautiful contrast with the gold!!

The gold flakies in Sephora's version are small and delicate.  Some of the other brands making gold leaf top coats are larger pieces.  I really loved Sephora's version because of how nice it applied with one coat and how smooth it was on the nail!! And to find it on clearance?!  SCORE!  So check out your local Sephora!  I hear it's not reduced in free standing Sephoras yet, but maybe it will be soon!

And for those that can't find it, be sure to enter the giveaway!! It ends on Tuesday, November 6 at 12:01 am (EST).  Following Blog, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook will allow only one point each, per person. You may tweet this giveaway as many times as you would like, with one point given per day, per person. This giveaway is open internationally - so best wishes and good luck!

Hope you all had a great weekend!

Much Love,
Crystal

ManGlaze Gives LEX Cosmetics Some Tips!

Hello Everyone!!!!  I have another LEX Cosmetics polish to show you!!! This is Seashell!  It is a gorgeous charcoal grey with holographic glitters!  When not in the sun, it still gives a beautiful 3-D look!  It kept grabbing my attention all day!

Head to http://lexcosmetics.com/shop.php to buy.  Polishes are $10.   LEX Cosmetics donates a percentage to a charity and each color has a story that has been created by a fan.  This is  "Created by Sarah, this color mimics the inside of a seashell, an iridescent/oil spill that not only captures the beauty of the seashell, but also the beauty of nature in general. It shows nature and it's beauty."  I think that is so awesome!!  I used 2 coats with Wicked Fast top coat.

I apologize the last promotion ended before some of you could order :-(  LEX Cosmetics said to stay tuned, so make sure to check them out on Facebook!  Follow them to stay up to date!

So as I have been enjoying doing lately, I added some tips!  But these aren't just any old tips...these are ManGlaze Matte tips!! Using Matte is Murder. LOVE how this turned out.  You can purchase ManGlaze in a few places - http://manglaze.myshopify.com/, Amazon, and Facebook.

Lots of pics...enjoy the holo, matte, and shiny!

Doesn't it still look awesome in the shade?!

I hope you enjoyed this look at ManGlaze and LEX Cosmetics!!!

Hope you have a great day!

ManGlaze and Daring Digits pair up!

Hello everyone!  I HIT 500 friends here!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT!  It makes my day!! hehe :-)

Today I have two beauties to show you!!  First up we have ManGlaze Royal Matterimoaning!  You can buy a few different places, their website, http://manglaze.myshopify.com/, Facebook, Amazon, and Star Trinkets (Signapore based shop).

Well from my notes on this mani, I used 1 coat.  I did this last week, and what is so sad is that I can't even remember.  So I quick painted a nail and it is opaque in 1 coat.  I should believe my notes I suppose, but this just looked *too* perfect!  That just goes to show how AMAZING ManGlaze is to get perfectly matte polish in one coat.  I actually use a lot of their polishes as bases since they dry super fast and are painted on so easily with 1 coat.  Make sure you check them out!  They unfortunately just had a sale that ended yesterday, but as I'm typing this, it's still on sale, so hurry!  You won't regret these! I just love that it looks like satin!

Then I threw on a coat of Seche Vite - *DROOL*  I know that ManGlaze is all about the Matte, but they make some serious gorgeous polish.  I absolutely love it matte, so don't get me wrong, but shiny is gorgeous too!

I thought I took a picture of me taping off a nail to show you guys, but unfortunately my camera didn't work because it wasn't there :-(  So what I do is wait about 10-15 minutes for the Seche Vite to set.  I take a piece of tape and apply it to the inside of my hand and stick it a few times, removing some of the tackiness.  Then line up the tape on the nail where I want it, and make sure to check for air bubbles along the line, because that can cause bleeding of the color you are applying.  I apply the color over the nail and tape, then remove immediately.  This should give you a nice crisp line and the diagonal look as seen below.

I used 1 coat of Daring Digits Copperline and topped it with Seche Vite.  This color is gorgeous!  I unfortunately don't see this listed on the Daring Digits Shop on Etsy, but hopefully there will be a restock soon!  Make sure to check out the Daring Digits Facebook for information on colors and restocks!!  This combo rocks, doesn't it!?  I just love the contrasting colors together!  And Copperline just glows!

But what would ManGlaze Matte polish be without it's matte finish, so I went back to use another coat of ManGlaze over the Seche Vite (waited again for 10-15 minutes before applying).  I got a tape picture this time, and I tried my best to line up the tape with that same diagonal (I had some troubles with my middle finger though!)

Here is my finished mani!  So to recap, 1 coat of Royal Matterimoaning, Seche Vite, Copperline, Seche Vite, and last diagonal of Royal Matterimoaning.

Here was the original way I wore it, but decided to do a tape mani for a post instead.  I do love both looks ;-)  Below is 1 coat Royal Matterimoaning and 1 coat of Copperline with Wicked Fast top coat by Cult Nails.  Pardon my cuticles!

I hope you enjoyed this fun combo!!  I hope you all have a great day!

Much Love,
Crystal

KBShimmer - The Square

Hello!! It's already Wednesday!  This week is going pretty quickly!! :-)  Today I have a gorgeous KBShimmer polish to show you, called The Square from The Clique Collection.  Now for the life of me, my camera (iPhone 4s), would not pick up the color.  This has been my first time adjusting the color - so although I tried to be as accurate as possible, it was difficult to get it to the actualy shade!  Plus The Square is a jelly, so that makes photographing in the sun even more difficult.

The Square is a stunning purple jelly that is actually quite bright.  In the bottle it's darker, but because it's sheer, on the nail it comes across as lighter.  It is filled with glitter though!!  There are larger squares of white, gold, and pink, with smaller squares in blue and green, and even smaller squares in gold and white.  Then there is very small scattered green squares throughout as well - almost hard to tell their shape, but considering the name...I can only assume ;-) hehe

Here is KBShimmer's description of this polish:
In high school, kids tend to divide into like minded groups. This polish is part of the collection based on high school cliques. Square - Per Urban Dictionary "A noticeably unhip, mainstream individual, a straight. Someone either ignorant or disinterested of underground subcultures. The antithesis of a hipster." Full of square glitters in lavender, blue, green, gold and white, this polish is anything but ordinary. The base of this polish a purple jelly base with red undertones. Purples are always hard to capture on film, and the color is still not perfect, but I think you will love this polish anyways. The squares in this polish can develop a curve, but I have not found the curve to be a problem, especially with a coat or two of top coat. Please see how the squares look the swatches.

I have used 2 coats with 1 coat of Seche Vite.  Again, I tried my best to adjust color for you!  I had no problem applying and no curving!

I ordered from Harlow & Co. and received this very quickly!! These are listed as $9 each.  They are currently out of stock, but I bet Katie will be receiving an order soon to restock!  Purchases over $50 are free shipping to anywhere!
You can also order through KBShimmer direct on her website. Polishes are listed as $8.50. Also, Christy, the owner, has an Etsy site, http://www.etsy.com/shop/KBShimmer. She sells more than just polish! She makes lotions, soaps, scrubs, bath bombs and lip balms! On her website, she does have a note for orders:
**Nail polish can only be shipped within the US, excluding military addresses. Any nail polish orders with international/military addresses will be cancelled. Please visit Harlow & Co to place your international orders**

Please note, depending on the amount of orders, shipping for nail polish may take 4-7 Business days. I will process in the order received, and will not be combining orders. I will refund shipping overages for PayPal orders per my
policies; credit card orders will have shipping adjusted when cards are processed. I have added a flat rate shipping option, I can fit up to 12 polishes via this method.

Next I decided to try layering The Square.  I used one coat of Zoya Savita.  Unfortunately, this isn't on Zoya's website currently, but hopefully they will bring it back!

Next I applied 1 coat of The Square with 1 coat of Seche Vite.  I just love how the shimmer in Savita appears the through jelly of The Square!!!

I believe this is a pretty good picture of the color from indoor lighting.

I hope you liked this look at KBShimmer The Square!! I really love this polish because square glitter is gorgeous to me!!  The multiple sizes and colors keep this very fun!

I hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Much Love,
Crystal
