KBShimmer - Winter Collection 2012 - Part 1

Hi Everyone!!  Are you getting into the Holiday spirit yet!?  Because today I have 2 awesome  KBShimmer polishes from the Winter Collection to show you!  Tomorrow I will have 3 more.  I wanted to show you too many pictures for just one post!

KBShimmer can be found Facebook to keep up on new collection release photos, blogger photos, and shop updates.   There are 9 polishes in the Winter Collection, so head to Facebook to see all the colors!!! You can also sign up to receive e-mails from KBShimmer, HERE!  Also, there is KBShimmer's awesome giveaway on Facebook - HERE!

For purchasing, you can check out KBShimmer's shop on Etsy, or the direct website, http://kbshimmer.com/, selling at $8.50 each. These two sites only ship within the US. If you are international, you will be able to purchase the Winter Collection and many others at Harlow & Co. - KBShimmer for $9.00, which are releasing on 11/15/12! Keep up on restock info for Harlow & Co. on Facebook. And did you know that if you spend over $50 at Harlow & Co., that shipping is free - EVERYWHERE!? Trust me, it is easy to spend $50 with all the goodies she sells!

For the first glitter, I used a base of Sienna by Julep.  For some reason, this polish has always reminded me of Christmas!  It looks mostly gold, but can almost look silver in some lights.  The frost of it just looks like an ornament of some kind!  I used 1 coat for pictures with no top coat.

Over Sienna, I applied 1 coat of KBShimmer Wrappers Delight and finished with Poshe top coat.  There are many sizes of gold, green, and red glitter in a clear base.  The gold glitters have a bit of holographic sparkle to them too, giving a little extra twinkle!  It reminds me of presents all wrapped under the tree!!

This polish is special though.  It is going to help raise money for Toys for Toys!!  What a wonderful way to help those in need, with $5 from each bottle will be used to purchase toys for the Toys for Tots program!!!  This polish will only be available from 11/15/12 - 12/15/12.  Make sure to grab your bottle, as this is a stunning mix that helps a wonderful cause this Christmas season!

This applied easily for me.  This polish is jam packed with glitter!  You won't have a hard time getting it on the brush :-)

I love how the glitters stand out!!  This base was just light enough not to take away from the rest of the polish.

I loved this close up shot with the gold piece glowing!

Next we have Candy Cane Crush!!

For this base, I used OPI Mod About You.  This is 2 coats with no top coat.  I absolutely love this pink!  It is just so creamy!  It can be a bit of a challenge to apply, but the less brush strokes the better, not going over the same area more than once.

On top of Mod About You, I placed 1 coat of Candy Cane Crush along Seche Vite top coat.  This polish is scented!!!  And it smells delicious with a soft vanilla peppermint scent.  I could smell it even applying, though I do not recommend smelling due to polish fumes.  But once dry, it leaves such a nice scent that isn't overpowering.  If I happened to brush my hair behind my ear, I'd get a nice hint of it!! It really makes me feel like Christmas time!

I love the look of the red and white glitters with different sizes and shapes!  The big red hexes are amazing!!  The glitter applies very well, and as you can see, a lot applies for just 1 coat, giving a full look for your mani.

Is it wrong that I want to eat it?!  Not only does it look delicious...but it smells good too!?!  Ok, I seriously don't recommend ingesting polish, but at least it won't be weird to sniff my nails all day........right? :-D  LOL

These beauties are certainly helping me get into the Christmas spirit!!  Don't forget to check out http://kbshimmer.com/ and Harlow & Co. - KBShimmer on 11/15 for purchasing!!!

Have a great day!

Much Love,
Crystal

I am wearing Julep Hayden with two coats topped with Dollish Polish What's This? What's This? topped with Seche Vite.

What's This? What's This? is a mix of glitters of purple, orange, green (lime green too), white (bar glitter too), and black!! There are even some large black squares hiding in there! Such a gorgeous mix for Halloween!!

Hope you enjoyed today's post! Sorry it isn't my usual style!! I used indoor lighting as well.

U-Neek Polish - Fall Collection

Hello Everyone!  Hopefully you all had a great weekend!  Unfortunately, I'm still feeling sick :-(  But thank you so much for all of your well wishes!  I am probably going to go to work today, but not without my BFF, DayQuil!! lol  I think it's from all the changes of the weather.  Fall is definitely here!  And speaking of Fall, here is the Fall Collection by U-Neek Polish!!!

You can purchase U-Neek Polish and Janet's Fall Collection on Etsy.  Full size polishes are $8 and minis are $4 to $4.25 each.  Also, you can follow her on Instagram - @oneandonlyjanet.

And GUESS WHAT!?  Janet is kind enough to offer all of you a 20% off coupon for her shop!  The Coupon Code is: "Crystal", so make sure you check it out - U-Neek Polish.

First up is Autumn.  It has a gold base with Fire Red, Emerald Green & Golden Orange glitters.  I used 3 coats with Wicked Fast top coat.  It is a bit sheer, but that makes for great layering!  It is a nice shimmery gold base and it really does remind me of the Autumn season!

Next up, we have Penny, which is a copper base with copper sparks.  I used 3 coats with Wicked Fast top coat by Cult Nails.  It is another one that could either be worn like I have or would be gorgeous layered!

I used Hayden by Julep as my base for the next color.  This is 2 coats.

Over Hayden, I layered 1 coat of Northwest. It is named after Janet's high school because it is their colors.  Northwest is a clear base with black and orange glitters.  I topped this with Wicked Fast top coat.

For the last mani, I used Almost Paradise for my base.  This is 2 coats.  I also used this for the giveaway post - don't forget to enter! Harvest Time Giveaway!

Last but not least, this is Central.  It is a clear base with emerald green, ocean spray & chart reuse glitters.  It is named after Janet's son's high school colors.  I love the way this glitter sparkles!  I used 1 coat and topped it with Wicked Fast.

Blurred to show the glitters sparkling!

So I hope you enjoyed this look at U-Neek Polish!  This is my first time trying this brand and I LOVE it!  I want to try layering the first two to see what combinations I can come up with!  All applied very well!

Don't forget, 20% off coupon for Janet's shop!  The Coupon Code is: "Crystal", so make sure you check it out - U-Neek Polish.

I hope you all have a great day!!

Much Love,
Crystal
