First up, Sage Advice.

Close up!

Next up, Jaded.

For Jaded, I used 2 coats along with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I love the glitters in this!  They are so delicate and beautiful!  And Jaded seems to change color in certain lights!  My light box, it looked more teal.

However, in my bedroom lighting, it looked more green.  So beautiful!

Close up!  You can purchase this HERE!  It is a Limited Edition.

Last, we have Just My Luck.

For Just My Luck, I used 2 coats along with Wicked Fast top coat by Cult Nails.

I can't help but think of the movie Just My Luck with Lindsey Lohan, LOL!!  I love this though!  The milky white base is loaded with glittering sparkles and love the white and green squares!

I do not see this for sale at this time, but hopefully it will be restocked ;-)

Close up!

Shimmer Polish - Tape Manis - Week 5

Hello Everyone!!  Sorry for the gap in tape manis!!  ;-)  Hopefully today was worth the wait! This is week five out of ten! Cindy, the owner, was so kind to send me these to show you all! I am having so much fun coming up with combinations! I hope you all are enjoying what I've come up with so far!!

Today we are looking at Liana! Here are a couple bottle shots!

You can purchase Shimmer Polish HERE on Etsy. You can also visit the
Shimmer Polish Blog! for information and lots of swatches! And you can also stay up to date with
Shimmer Polish on Facebook and on Twitter - @ShimmerPolish.

I started with a base of Zoya Rocky with two coats and topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  This will be reviewed soon!

A beautiful blue!

Once that is dry, probably about 20 minutes or so, it's safe to use the tape! Of course, the longer you wait, there is less of a chance for smudges! If you are going to do a tape mani after wearing the polish for a day or two, I recommend reapplying the top coat to prevent the tape from pulling any of the original color with it!

When I do a tape mani, I apply the tape to my hand a few times to remove some of the tackiness of the tape. I lay it diagonally on the nail and with the clear tape, you can make sure the edges are flat against the nail. I do each nail individually with tape, then apply the polish. Once applied, I remove the tape and move the next nail. By the time that is finished, I add top coat (KBShimmer Clearly on Top) and BAM - Tape Mani!!! I decided to switch the angle up a little!! LOVE how this turned out!

Liana is such a pretty mix of blue, black, and silver holographic glitters!  I love the bigger black and blue glitters in this too!

Glitter close up!

Nail close up!

In case you missed the previous manis, Candace is HERE!, Julie is HERE!, Irene is HERE!, and Jennifer is HERE!

I hope you are enjoying the Shimmer Polish tape manis so far!! Things should be on track to have the next tape mani on next Friday! ;-)

In case you missed above, you can purchase Shimmer Polish HERE on Etsy. You can also visit the

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!

Nerd Lacquer - Scully

Hi Everyone!!  So I cannot even express how happy I am that Nerd Lacquer is back!  I was so worried about the owner, Amanda, and am so glad that the nail community could welcome her back with open arms. Amanda has gone through a lot over the last year, and my heart goes out to her.  It is so inspiring to see her get back into action though!!

Today, I have the last of my trio of Harlow & Co. Exclusives by Nerd Lacquer.  This is Scully!  I am beyond excited to have gotten this, as it is so so stunning!  Since Nerd Lacquers sell out so quickly, I hope Amanda will be making lots and lots more to share the NL love!

You can view my other post (it's so old and these need to be reswatched but I haven't had the time) - HERE!  This features the other two of the trio, which would be Han Shot First and Batcave!! I refreshed for those for like 3 hours back when NL was first out!  I have held those as prized possessions (LOL) and was sad to miss Scully, but am glad I got my paws on it now!  And honestly, after a year or so of Nerd Lacquer not being in production, I was so sad for everyone to miss out on the beauty that is Nerd Lacquer!! I kept my NLs on the shelf tucked away because I know how much it stinks to want something you can't have and I never wanted to "show off".  I do hope that each and every one of you are able to snag the ones you've been waiting for!  I know it can be hard trying to fight the crowds, but these are worth all the patience and waiting!  Promise!

Ok, sorry for the side notes haha :-)  You can purchase Nerd Lacquer at http://nerdlacquer.com/  Now, of course, there is a huge demand for them!  Amanda uses Google+ for notifications, so I recommend following her HERE to stay up to date on info!  You can also purchase from Harlow & Co. and Ninja Polish.

So here is Scully!!!  The flecks looked pink under my light box!

For this mani, I used 2 coats of Scully along with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  The next couple of pictures are outside as the sun was setting.

I love the silver glitters that are in this!!  They are gorgeous!  Along with the white in this peachy base!  The lighting really changes how it looks too!  I mentioned about that the flecks looked pink....

But in my bedroom and kitchen, the flecks had a blue/purple look to them!!  SO gorgeous!

Here is a close up of the bottle in my kitchen lighting!  (Sorry it's blurry)

Close up - light box!

Close up - outside!

I hope you enjoyed this look at Nerd Lacquer Scully!!  We missed you, Amanda!! SO SO SO glad you are back and better than ever!

PJ Polish - Ink Inspired Collection

Hello Everyone!! It's Friday!! Anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend!?!  I'll be swatching and hopefully relaxing. I felt better yesterday, so I'm glad my migraine is finally going away!  Part of why I get them is from caffeine, so I usually stay away but had some towards the end of last week and last weekend.  I don't know why if I have too much it causes almost withdrawal if I don't, but then even if I do continue drinking coffee or anything with caffeine, it seems like having it too much will bring the headaches/migraines too!  Oh well, you'd think I'd learn and leave it alone, but it's just SOOOO good and makes me not so tired all the time! haha

Anyway, sorry for that ramble :-D haha Today I am excited to show you a brand that is new to me and I was given the opportunity to review, PJ Polish!! Today I am going to show you her Ink Inspired Collection!  I also included a few pictures of the tattoo that each polish represents!

You can purchase PJ Polish on Etsy at http://www.etsy.com/shop/PJpolish.  You can stay up to date with PJ Polish on Instagram as @jenlynnsnails and for any questions, Kik as @JennyLDG.

This is going to be a picture heavy post, plus I matted a couple too! YUM!

First up, we have Hannya Mask.

Here is an example of a Hannya Mask tattoo.
For this mani, I used 2 coats of Hannya Mask with Wicked Fast top coat by Cult Nails.

This is a frosty green base with orange, black, and silver glitters!  It has a gorgeous shimmer to it!

Close up!

Next we have Lotus Flower.

An example of a lotus flower tattoo!  So pretty!

For this mani, I used 2 coats of Lotus Flower with Wicked Fast top coat.

This white base is so delicate with the tiny little white glitters in it, along with the green and pink glitter.   I love the slight frost to it too!

Close up!

Next we have Dark Fairy.

A Dark Fairy tattoo!

For this mani, I used 2 coats of Fuggen Ugly by ManGlaze along with 1 coat of Dark Fairy and topped with Wicked Fast.

Love all the glitters in this!  The pink, green, blue, silver, and purple shards!  So beautiful!  And I like the dark grey base with it too!

Close up!

I added a coat of Essie Matte About You!

LOVE how this looks!

Close up!

Next we have Pirate Ship.

An example of a Pirate Ship tattoo.

For this mani, I used 2 coats of OPI A-Taupe The Space Needle with 1 coat of Pirate Ship and topped with Wicked Fast.

The gold is holographic!  I love the blue and brown and red together with the gold!  I put the dark brown base with it to complete the Pirate Ship look!

Close up!  Sorry, my Wicked Fast was at it's end and caused bubbles :-(

I added a coat of Essie Matte About You to this one too!  LOVE it SO much!!

Doesn't it look awesome?

Close up!

Next we have Koi Fish.

Here is an example of a Koi Fish tattoo.

Photo Credit: https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9BP3uDG5j6mGzRwGpuBrMkst6rQJMzQ1qTV9sk6S8K5bwF2zdD80Fc5Ro7S5_dJapD4YLTHggxD6kk24aNdvRU_2DD5WMVj7NxcCfhITABLkGPg6k1aSTkCFqVMVrbzA2WJBYvOHbe67c/s1600/Koi-fish-tattoo.jpg
For this mani, I used 3 coats of Koi Fish.  Since the jelly is so so glossy, I didn't do a top coat, but do recommend a top coat for extended wear! ;-)

This beauty has blue circle glitter!!  Along with white and orange glitters in the stunning blue jelly base!

Close up!

For fun, I added another coat (4 coats), again with no top coat.  I do see slight visible nail line, so if that bothers you, I recommend layering!  The first one that came to mind was OPI Dating A Russian because it is a slight jelly too, but the blues are a bit different.  I will have to layer it next time to see how it turns out!!

So deep looking, isn't it!?

Close up!

Last but not least, we have Phoenix!

Here is an example of a Phoenix tattoo.  This tattoo is SO cool looking!  Is it supposed to remind me of the one in Harry Potter?
For this mani, I used 2 coats of Phoenix and no top coat again.  Same as above, a top coat is recommended for increasing the wear of your polish!  However, it's SO glossy because it is a jelly!

It's a red/orange base with gold and blue glitters.  This base is fantastic!! I love how it turned out!!

Close up!  Love that layered glitter!

I hope you enjoyed this post!!  Now I want to get another tattoo after looking at all these online!! haha ;-)  Please check out the shop on Etsy at http://www.etsy.com/shop/PJpolish for today's release of these. You can stay up to date with PJ Polish on Instagram as @jenlynnsnails and for any questions, Kik as @JennyLDG.

Jenny, the owner, let me know that the labels will be changing, so your bottles may look a little different than the ones shown!  She said they weren't stickking as well, so I think it's great that a company takes the time to fix the problem!!  Mine actually have been fine ;-)  Can't wait to see the new look!

Have a fantastic weekend!

Much Love,
Crystal
