Think Pink!!

Zoya Kiki (2 coats) with LA Splash Be Mine (1 coat)

So I completely messed up and didn't take pictures of Zoya Kiki by herself on!! SO sorry!! She is lovely and I'm sure I'll have pictures in the future!  This is probably my favorite hot pink - maybe of all time.  It is just such a perfect shade, opaque in 2 coats, and has an amazing shimmer!  The shimmer almost looks white/silver/purple depending on the light.  The bottle in the picture above kind of shows what I'm talking about.

 

I wore this mani yesterday on Valentine's Day.  I love how girlie it made me feel!  I bought LA Splash Be Mine last year after Valentine's Day, so really I don't think I've used it since I maybe tried it out the first time.  I was glad to pull this out for a few hearts!  The formula is quite thick and I had to do a lot of maneuvering to get the hearts on my brush and onto my nail.  But the glitter is gorgeous in it and I especially loved it with the pink.  The glitter shifts from gold to green in a milky base.  The hearts laid pretty flat.  I used a nice thick coat of Seche Vite and didn't have any problems!

 

My friend and co-worker, Laura, was kind enough to spoil us with cake for Valentine's Day yesterday!  She is a sweetheart.  This cake is from our local bakery that makes mouth-watering desserts.  I actually used them for my wedding!  I had a cheesecake/cake buffet that was tiered for guests to choose what they wanted.  It turned out perfect and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it!

So I hope you enjoyed my girlie version of a Valentine's Mani!  ;-)  I love pink, I'm surprised I don't reach for it more!  hehe
