Girly Bits - Daddy's Little Girl

Hello Everyone!  I hope you are having a great week!  You can tell it's Fall here, especially with all the trees changing colors!  It's quite cool outside too!  Hopefully we don't have a harsh winter!!

I'm finally making my way through my huge pile of untrieds!!  I kick myself for not trying this beauty by Girly Bits sooner!  This is Daddy's Little Girl.  I just LOVE this name.  I was adopted by my Dad at 8 years old.  I actually don't know my birth father, but that is a good thing from what I know about him.  I was blessed my Mom found her love and that he loved me too!  He took on a lot to raise me as his own, but he is truly my Daddy and I love him so much.  So Dad, this post is for you!  I will always be your little girl.

Daddy's Little Girl is a gorgeous blue and purple glitter.  Blue is more dominant, so I went for a purple base of OPI Purple with a Purpose using 2 coats.  I applied 1 coat of Daddy's Little Girl and topped with Seche Vite.

You can purchase Girly Bits from http://girlybits.bigcartel.com/, Llarowe - Girly Bits, and Harlow & Co. - Girly Bits.  Prices vary from $10 to $13 depending on the item (some are higher due to materials) and the shop.  Llarowe has a few on sale right now for $8!!  And Harlow & Co. offers free shipping over $50 to anywhere!  And Girly Bits website is free shipping over $60.  Each site has different polishes in stock right now, but they are worth checking out!  Girly Bits has a ton of amazing colors that you will love!  It's hard not to want them all!

Another couple of places to order are Mei Mei Signatures and Overall Beauty.  I personally haven't ordered from these shops, but I hear great things about them!  So many options to get your Girly Bits!! ;-)

A great way to stay up to date on Girly Bits is through Facebook!  Pam, the owner, updates restocks and includes swatches of colors!  Here is a recent post:
"We are working really hard to get everything ready for a restock this weekend, of the Halloween Collection and the 3 newest Calendar Girls, along with Hulk Smash, and perhaps a few other surprises."

Cannot wait to see what will be released!!  Another great way to see upcoming collections is by following Pam's Blog!

I love how the larger blue hexagons glow!  The catch the light beautifully!  This polish was very easy to apply too, with great coverage in one coat!

A nice close up!

I hope you enjoyed today's look at Girly Bits!!  I'm so glad I pulled this beauty out to try finally!

Have a great day!

Much Love!

Nostalgic - Rio and Jem

Hello Everyone!! I didn't have sun the other day when I took these, but I thought these were too pretty not to share!! Today I have 2 colors from Nostalgic Lacquer - Rio and Jem!

First up is Rio and I used a base of China Glaze Tantalize Me.  I know I recently used this, but this is a gorgeous color and I love the hidden blue shimmer!  This is 2 coats.

Next I applied 1 coat of Rio and topped with Wicked Fast.

Nostalgic Lacquer is sold at http://nostalgicnaillacquer.bigcartel.com/. It looks like she is out of stock right now, but you can stay up to date by following http://nostalgicnaillacquer.com/, Facebook or Blog. Erin, the owner, sells her polishes for $9.75.

Rio is a gorgeous mix of purple, blue, and silver holographic glitters.

Next we have Nostalgic Jem!  I started with 2 coats of Zoya Dove (sorry no pics) and 1 coat of Jem, followed by Wicked Fast.

Jem is made up of gorgeous pink glitters mixed with white hexagons and bar glitter, with a sprinkle of copper/rose pink glitters.  Pictures do not do this one justice.  I almost passed it by and I would have definitely been missing out!!

I hope you enjoyed today's post!! I hope you have a great day!

Much Love,

Aphrodite Lacquer - Fete Champetre

Hi everyone!!! Today I want to share a gorgeous polish I won!!  I entered in The Obsessed giveaway of Aphrodite Lacquer and won Fete Champetre - which is what I wanted so much!! YAY!!! Thank you, Aire!!!

You can purchase this beauty at Aphrodite Lacquers on Etsy for $8 each.  Fete Champetre is a part of the Printemps a Paris collection, and was a popular form of entertainment as a garden party (as told by Wikipedia!).  How beautiful are all these colors together!  They are in a white/grey jelly base with a beautiful hidden pink shimmer!  This polish actually is a mix of all the glitters from the rest of the collection!

For the first few photos, here I have used 2 coats with Wicked Fast top coat.  I love the sheerness and pops of color!  The foils of the glitter pick up the light beautifully.

For the last photos, I have added a third coat and topped it with Seche Vite.  This gives it more of a layered, milky look and and the visible nail line is almost gone!

Here is a bottle shot to get a look at that pink shimmer, since it wouldn't photograph very well for me!

Thank you again to AphroditeLacquers and The Obsessed for this great prize!! I am in love with it!!

I hope you all have a great day!!
Much Love,
Crystal
