XOXO Nails - Candy Girl

Hello Everyone!  I hope you all had a great weekend!! I was able to catch up with friends at a wedding and had a great time! And I'm almost over my cold completely, so I'm very glad for that :-D  Also, welcome to all the new friends!! I see more have found me over the weekend - Hello and thank you for stopping by!!

Today I have another polish by XOXO Nails!!  This is Candy Girl with 4 coats and topped with Seche Vite. As I've mentioned, I met Elektra, the owner, through Instagram. Not only does she create gorgeous polishes, she is great at manicures too! Make sure you check her out on Instagram - @xoxo_nails. She is also on Facebook and Twitter - @xoxo_nails. Her shop on Etsy, XOXO Nails, has full size bottles for $9.00, but she does have a few sets at discounted prices! Here is Candy Girl!

Candy Girl is a gorgeous white base with multiple sized glitters in red, blue, yellow, light purple, and white.  It even has some tiny little green glitters in it!  It can be applied with less coats for a sheer look, built up with four coats to be opaque, or layered over a white polish (or any other color you might enjoy!).  Please excuse the sun making this look a little pink based - as it is white as you see in the shade.

Here is a nice close up to show all the glitters.  I love this combination!!  And I love the multiple layers of it to give it such a nice deep look where you can see all the different levels of glitter!!

I hope you enjoyed this look! And don't forget to check out XOXO Nails on Etsy! She has full size bottles for $9.00, but she does have a few sets at discounted prices! Here is Candy Girl!

Hope you have a great day! And don't forget to enter my Harvest Time Giveaway!

Much Love,
Crystal

Nostalgic - Way Harsh

Happy Friday!! I'm going to have another busy weekend with a friend's wedding on Saturday, and Mr. CC is in it!  Thankfully, I am feeling better!  My voice is still somewhat gone, but I can finally breathe again! lol

Today I have Nostalgic Way Harsh to show you!!  I started with a base of Zoya Kristen.  If I could only pick 10 polishes to take to a desert island, this would be one.  I know that it's plain, a cream, and just kind of "boring", but it is so awesomely boring that I crave it!  If you haven't noticed, I use this as a base for a TON of stuff.  It applies perfectly with 2 coats, compliments my skin tone, and is pretty much just the perfect calming, dusty baby blue! This is with Wicked Fast top coat and I actually wore it by itself a couple of days while I was home sick with a cold!

So because I'm so in love with this, I want to share this link with you, https://www.artofbeauty.com/rd/014C6397.  This is a Share the Love link that leads to Zoya Kristen. This link is a way for me to earn points through them! So cool for me, but don't worry, you guys can get something too! See what Zoya wrote: Remember EVERYONE WINS with "Share the Love": When someone clicks on your personal link and sets up an online account, a $5 coupon a coupon for a FREE Bottle of Zoya Nail Polish will automatically be placed in their account and can be used immediately on their current order. TIP: If you use this coupon and add 2 more polishes to your order, you get free shipping too! The coupon will appear in the "My Coupons/ Promos" section of their "My Account" Page.

So yesterday I mentioned that you could add the base color over a glitter to help with tipwear.  Another way to spruce up a regular mani is to add GLITTA!  Of course we all know that though, right? ;-)  I love to contrast, so I went with something to help this Nostalgic pop!

Here is 1 coat of Nostalgic Way Harsh over Zoya Kristen, topped with Seche Vite.

Nostalgic Lacquer is sold at http://nostalgicnaillacquer.bigcartel.com/.    It looks like she is out of stock right now, but you can stay up to date by following http://nostalgicnaillacquer.com/Facebook or Blog.  Erin, the owner, sells her polishes for $9.75.

This angle is SO cool in the picture below!! Doesn't it look like the glitter is 3-D!?!?

Drool.  Close ups make everything better!  I love matte glitter too!  Hope you enjoyed today's post!

Have a great weekend!!!

Much Love,
Crystal

Windestine - Hydrangeas

Hello!!  Hope you are all doing well!  I am starting to feel like myself again! PHEW! lol  Today I have a gorgeous glitter from Windestine!  This is called Hydrangeas.  I have layered this over 2 coats of OPI You Don't Know Jacques!  I then tapped off and did the tips and topped it all off with Seche Vite.

Windestine will be opening today at 5pm PST on Etsy!  You can find her shop - HERE - Windestine.  She will not be restocking this color at this time, but she has tons of other gorgeous colors!!  You can check out her Blog for more information!

I had a bit of tip wear so that is part of why I added the tips.  It is a great way to refresh a mani when you are on the go and way to touch it up without redoing it!

Part of why I love Windestine is the creations of glitter!  Hydrangeas is a mix of purple, green, and copper glitters.  To me, the glitters just glow!  I have noticed that with all of the colors I have!  They are absolutely beautiful!

Here is a nice close up!  Another reason I love Windestine is that her glitters are full in one coat and apply very easily!

I hope you all have a great day! And make sure to check out Windestine's opening today - On Etsy!

Much Love,
Crystal
