My Collection!!

Going through all my polish last night sure made me exhausted!! I think I was working on my blog and racks for about 4 hours. What a night!!

Please ignore the mess, and trust me, this room is far from done!! I need to repaint eventually! This is my yellow, black, & white room! I will take pictures again once things are more organized! I was tired and wanted to at least show you all what I've been so excited for!!

I've been collecting maybe a year and a half. It's amazing to me to think back to the very first polish - OPI Don't Know, Beets Me. I bought it when I got a pedicure. From there I went on to get a few more OPIs and it was downhill after that!! If there was polish at the bottom of that hill, let's just say I'd roll all the way down it just to see what color it was. ;-)

So last night, I started shaking bottles and tightening caps and got sick of that maybe halfway through the first rack!!! LOL So if some colors are separated, sorry! ;-) Anyway, I did try my best to color fade, but sometimes it didn't work perfectly. I like how they look though, but I will probably redo it a million times as I have this problem to keep buying more!

Mr. CC is the one that actually said I needed all racks, no helmers. I was surprised he'd want them all on the wall, but he said I should be able to see them all. I have to admit, he is right! I love it! And now I can easily grab whatever I'm in the mood for!! I did say 6 racks are my limit, after these are filled (which won't be too much longer I suppose), I plan to get a helmer.

I can tell I was tired last night - I didn't mention where these lovely racks were from!!!  I went to the Head 2 Toe Beauty store, just over an hour from my house.  They do have a whole online shop, so you can check that out - Here.  Their wall racks are Here.  I bought the 90ct ones!  Hope that helps ;-)

Clarins 230 - Unicorn Pee

Do you think Clarins knew back when they created 230 that people would be spending $60-100 on just one bottle? I'm going to go with no...lol. They should have had a better marketing executive out there so they'd be getting the ridiculous amounts of cash instead of eBay sellers!

I can't even recall when I first learned of UP, but I knew I loved it instantly. How could you not? I mean, even as I type this, I'm pausing for glances at this mani!

So of course when you want something, it seems like it's everywhere around you, except in your hands! Hehe! Lots of people began posting about it, but I believe Erika from Chloe's Nails (you can find her - Here) was the one that talked about how she found it on eBay for $59.99. Now, I realize I'm crazy, but that is just shocking.  Even still, I kept one eye out, thinking of this polish in the back of my mind!!

It was a week before my birthday and my then fiancé asked what I wanted. I told him Unicorn Pee. He gave me a questioning look, so I explained. I knew it was expensive, but that was really the only thing I wanted. I truly love rare polishes.

Not everyone agrees to spend that kind of money on one bottle of polish, and I completely understand and respect that!! I never thought the day would come that I would either, but I am thrilled with my gift. It's so very special and the fact that it was from my love makes it even better!! :-)

My birthday was back in August, so I've had it for a little while. I really only used when I first got it, and it's been sitting in it's pretty little home since. I bought Misa It's You! during my haul to Head 2 Toe Beauty and thought these two would be a perfect pair!! 2 coats of It's You! and 1 coat of 230.

It's You! is gorgeous on it's own! It is purple and green shimmer particles when you look directly at it, but as you shift, it changes to either all purple or all green.

Then with 230 over top, my nails just glowed!! 230 has the most beautiful shimmers I have ever seen! It's like tiny little fire flecks that fight each other over which color to shine!! It really is every color of the rainbow!! And so much better than regular shimmer polish.  I have no idea what is used to give this polish such a unique finish!


I dug this out because there has been so much talk of Max Factor Fantasy Fire.  I hope there will be some comparisons!  I'm dying to see if it really is a dupe!! ;-)

Color Club - Otherworldly

I had the best time with my hubby last night getting my nail polish racks and huge amounts of polish from Head 2 Toe Beauty!! I was seriously a kid in a candy shop. It's a very good thing this place isn't closer...I'd move in!! Both Dave & Sue the owners were extremely nice and definitely know their colors! My hubby went with and even he was surprised how well Dave knew what I was referring to!! Oh the joys of polish world.

Now this is just a quick post with pictures because this polish doesn't need anything else in my opinion! It is from the Starry Temptress collection. I did buy a few other colors, but this one begged me to try it!! ;-)

It is a bit of a thick formula with round silver glitters. Then, when you least expect it, there's a glimpse of holographic glitter flecks! It's almost like a tease. What's the strangest, is that I almost see the holo flecks better in low lighting. They're subtle, but it's ok because I love the look of this polish. It reminds me of that weird foam kids play with!! Personally, just the fact that it's unique is enough for me to absolutely love it!! The blue is nice and bright! Almost a neon I suppose but more if a nice cerulean blue.
