Dollish Polish - Cartoon Series

Hi!!! Sorry for the late post!!  But better late than never, right?? ;-)  Ok, so some new amazing polishes are here to review from Dolly at Dollish Polish!!  And let me tell you, they are simply amazing!!!  Plus they are based off of cartoons, which makes me love these even more!!

You can purchase Dollish Polish at HERE at DollishPolish.com or through HERE at Llarowe.  However, both shops are sold out of the pretties I'm showing here today.  A great way to stay up to date with restock information is by following Dollface22772 (Dollish Polish) on Facebook and Llarowe on Facebook.  Both are also on Twitter -  &   and Instagram - @Dollface22772 & @llarowe.

Ready for swatches??!  Up first, It's So Fluffy, I'm Gonna Die!

Seriously, isn't this gorgeous!??

For It's So Fluffy, I'm Gonna Die, I used 2 coats along with KBShimmer Clearly on Top!

This is based off of the movie, Despicable Me.  Here is a quick clip of where the name comes from!

I absolutely love the glass flecks in this!  Plus all the pink!! And circle glitters!??  Plus those big pink hexes are awesome!  Squares too!

Close Up!!  This is seriously the prettiest pink!! A must have in my opinion!

Next, Crystal Empire!  Don't you just love the name? *wink wink*

I'm in glitter heaven I think!  I started with three coats of OPI Rumple's Wiggin'.

I then applied 1 coat of Crystal Empire along with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

LOVE these huge circle glitters that are holographic!  And the beautiful moons, stars, and smaller circles!  This is just such a fun glitter topper!  I wanted to try this over blues, pinks, purples, black, etc. haha I can't wait to wear this again!

This is based off of the cartoon, My Little Pony!  Here is a picture of the Crystal Empire!

HERE for Photo Credit

You can see in the bottle the holo big circle glitter! YUM!

Close up!

Next....Who Lives In A Pineapple Under The Sea?

SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!

For this mani using Who Lives In A Pineapple Under The Sea?, I used 2 coats along with 2 coats of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  I did add the extra top coat to make sure it was smoother!

Here is the theme song to the cartoon, Spongebob Squarepants!

Are you going to be singing it all night too? LOL  Anyway, I LOVE the stars in this, plus it totally reminds me of the cartoon Spongebob Squarepants!  And the light blue shimmer through this is beautiful!  It's subtle, but I love it!  And there are these white glitters that are thicker, but they look so so cool through the white base! Since they are thicker though, I do recommend a thick top coat, or like I did, an extra coat.  It is definitely worth it though!  Isn't this awesome?

Close up!  You can see the blue glitters/shimmer in it!

I hope you enjoyed this post!!  In case you missed above, you can purchase Dollish Polish at HERE at DollishPolish.com or through HERE at Llarowe. Black and White Glitter Comparison!

Nail-Venturous Voodoo Doll, Pretty & Polished Valentino,
Dollish Polish Putting on the Ritzzz, and Lynnderella Connect the Dots

Hello everyone!  I know I'm completely obsessed with black and white glitter, anyone else?  I actually don't even own all of the ones available, but thought I'd at least show you the four I have!!  I love that they're all different.  I know to some friends they might not understand the subtle differences, but to me, I can see the magic in each little bottle!!!! haha Do I sound crazy or what?  I think that's all the fumes to my head.  No, no, no, in all seriousness, these are some of my favorite polishes and I will go into more detail on each one below.

Nail-Venturous Voodoo Doll, Pretty & Polished Valentino,
Dollish Polish Putting on the Ritzzz, and Lynnderella Connect the Dots

Pretty & Polished Valentino, and Nail-Venturous Voodoo Doll

Nail Venturous Voodoo Doll can be purchased HERE at Ninja Polish.  Amy, the creator, will be opening an Etsy shop soon, which will have other colors available.  Voodoo Doll is currently out of stock, but sign up for their e-mail notification and you'll have a chance to scoop one up!  This is the darkest of them all.  And probably the most different.  It contains shiny silver and black small circular glitter, medium black and white hexagons, and more white hexagons that are a tad larger, and some large silver hexagons in a very dark grey jelly.  Some of the black hexagons are a bit reflective too, flashing a purple color.

Pretty & Polished Valentino can be purchased HERE on Etsy.  Chels was stocked up last night, but may be out now, as her polish sells quickly.  She will be stocking on Fridays, so be sure to check it out then to get a bottle of Valentino!  She has mini and full size bottles available.  Valentino has large, medium, and small white hexagons, large black hexagons, and them some amazing small black hexagons that flash almost a purple color.  There are also tiny black and white dots floating through and all of this is in a light grey jelly polish. You can see my full review of Valentino HERE.

Dollish Polish Putting on the Ritzzz just got here!  You can purchase this HERE on Etsy.  Dolly's shop is currently closed, but there is an option to receive an e-mail notifying when she will return.  Putting on the Ritzzz has a clear base with black and white hexagons, a few larger white hexagons, and small black dots throughout.  I can see a few smaller white dots too, but not as heavy as the black ones.

Lynnderella Connect the Dots is unfortunately the hardest to find.  I purchased mine from Leah Ann HERE.  Unfortunately, they aren't taking orders right now, as they are in the process of filling previous orders.  If you unfamiliar with Lynnderella polishes, they are in extremely high demand.  I was very lucky to order before everyone found Leah Ann selling it (thanks to Let Them Have Polish - HERE posting a picture a while ago on her Facebook page!!).  Since then, they have tried to find other ways to order fairly.  I wanted to warn you, it will take time if this is a polish you desire.  It is very pretty though.  It contains a subtle shimmer throughout with tiny black and white dots scattered through.  It also has black and white bar glitter, medium black and white hexagons, smaller black hexagons, and the occasional black square!

PHEW!  I know, lots of info there.  If you made it to this point, please go ahead and enjoy some pictures.  Each color is 1 coat over 2 coats of OPI My Chihuahua Bites!  I wanted a nice bright creme to make sure you could see the shimmer in Connect the Dots.  Enjoy the pictures!! ;-)

BONUS!!  As if this wasn't the longest post ever, lol, here's more!!  I had a couple requests, so I wanted to include these swatches of Hip Hop Hippity Hop by Dollish Polish.  Again, you can purchase these HERE.  This is a light pink with pastel glitters of pink, blue, and green.

I was very excited about this, but I have to warn you that the base is pretty thick.  I believe my glitter did sink, so my first try with this didn't look as nice because I was trying to place the glitter by grabbing lots of base coat.  I had 3 coats on, but felt it didn't look right and removed it.  I held the bottle upside and rolled it around to bring some glitter to the top.  This helped the polish to apply better.  I contacted Dolly last to see if this is the regular consistency or if I should try thinner.  I am worried of thinner because the glitter seems to be thick too.  It has sort of a bead quality to it, which is very cool when it peaks through the base.  I would hate for the polish to become too thin and have the glitter sink.  I honestly am not a frankenista!  haha  Anyway, I did use 1 coat of Seche Vite and 1 coat of Poshe to smooth it all out.  I think it looks pretty nice, it just was a tad tricky to apply.  If you have this, don't give up and try like I did to let the glitter shift to the top.  This way, you aren't picking up extra base when applying the glitter pieces.

I hope you enjoyed this very long post today :-) hehe if you'd like me to do a full mani using any of the black & white glitters, just put it in the comment section and I will make sure to do that soon!  I gave you the link to Valentino, but I don't think I've posted anything of Connect the Dots or the two new ones yet!

Have a great day!!  And thank you so much for reading ;-)

Much Love,
Crystal

Edited to Add: Dollish Polish posted the following on Facebook:

It has come to my attention that many of you are having difficulties with latest batch of Hip Hop Hippity Hop. When initially tested, both the formula and glitters both were fine, but it seems now the glitter is perhaps melting slightly, and as a result, making the formula itself unworkable, and the glitters have become curled or even turned into a bead-like ball. I would like to apologize to everyone for this unforeseen occurrence. I will not be re-stocking HHHH until this can be rectified. Due to the current base issue, I am not able to send everyone replacement bottles at this time, but if you wish to work something out in the form a a refund, or a replacement bottle in your next purchase, please feel free to contact me. Again, I apologize for this inconvenience.

Dollish Polish Blogiversary Giveaway! (Closed)

Hi everyone!!! Today I'm TWO blog years old!!! I'm so excited!!! Just sorry I haven't been here as much over the last few months!! I miss it so much!  Hopefully you saw my update -HERE.

I wanted to do a lil somethin somethin for you guys, because you all mean so very much!!  You guys give me a reason to keep up this hobby!  Winter has been rough on these cuticles, but I'm going to try to take better care and try a new polish every few days.

So how about a quick look back to my first post~!  You can see it - HERE.  It's funny to critique my old work!  I feel as though I've improved, so that's good haha! :-D

Anyway! I'm excited to say that I have a few beauties from Dollish Polish to giveaway.  One winner will win 3 Full Size Dollish Polishes: Purple Nurples, Space, The Final Frontier HYPERDRIVE, and It's So Fluffy, I'm Gonna Die!  These are just three of my faves!  You can purchase Dollish Polish at HERE at DollishPolish.com or through HERE at Llarowe.  You can also stay up to date on information by following Dollface22772 (Dollish Polish) on Facebook and Llarowe on Facebook.  Both are also on Twitter - @DollishPolish & @llarowe  and Instagram - @Dollface22772 & @llarowe.

First up, Purple Nurples.

I used 3 coats along with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  I love the purple jelly filled with these amazing glitters!

Close up!  The mix of glitters is stunning, plus that flaky iridescence! Drool!

And since I'm home on a snow today today (one perk of this awful weather!), I ran outside quick to snag a couple pictures in the bright sun!  It's the perfect light box with all this snow hahahaha :-P

And I was thinking that it'd be awesome to matte this, but then forgot midway removing it (whoops), so two nails only...but this was the 3 coats with KBShimmer Clearly on Top, and I added 1 coat of Essie Matte About You. Stunning, right?

Next up, we have Space, The Final Frontier HYPERDRIVE.  This is amazing.  I kick myself for not trying this sooner.  I put it on last night knowing I bought one for the giveaway and needed to swatch it.  I have no idea why I never put it on sooner, because I couldn't even take it off last night!  I have a ton to swatch and I was drooling looking at this in different lighting!  So these first few are light box.

This is a great picture you can start to see some holo faintly!

Here are some sun pics!

If you noticed, the giveaway version is slightly different.  I have an older batch that materials are no longer available.  The new version is stunning though!  Check out these gorgeous comparison pictures!

And finally, It's So Fluffy, I'm Gonna Die!

You can see my original review of this - HERE!  This is two coats with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Such a gorgeous pink!  So many different glitters make this amazing in person.

See that close up!?  Yes...it is just beautiful, isn't it?!
