Jaded Nail Co. Swatches!

Hello Everyone!!  I hope you are all doing great!  I've been doing well ;-)  Still have a ton of stuff going on, but Mr. CC is feeling much much better, so thank you again for all of the love and support!!!  I mentioned on Instagram today about my silly phone (iPhone 4S, which I use for my photos) was crashing!  It does seem to be working again, so if it acts up again, it's going to get checked!  If anyone has had pictures grayed out even though the preview looks ok or all their texts cleared, let me know what you did to fix it!  Oh technology, we love/hate you! ;-)

Anyway, I'm so excited to review some gorgeous Jaded Nail Co. polishes for you today!  You can purchase
Jaded Nail Co. at http://jadednailco.bigcartel.com/.  You can also find out information on Facebook - Jaded Nail Co. or Instagram - @JadedNailCo.   Prices range from $10-11, with some on sale for $8!

First up, we have Serpent Spit.

For Serpent Spit, I used 2 coats along with Clearly on Top by KBShimmer.  The picture above was my first swatch that I lost most of the photos, so the ones below are the second swatch I did.  I had to include it because it captures the color so well!  And below I did the close up of this same shot.

I love the gold glitter through this!

Close up!  Which here you can see this gorgeous pink shimmer!

Next, we have Pegasus Pee.

For Pegasus Pee, I used 3 coats along with Clearly on Top by KBShimmer.

Neon yellow with gorgeous iridescent glitters!??  YES, please.  What a beauty!

Close up!  These two are from the Dirty Fantasy Neon collection.

Next, we have Save a Tree - Eat a Fly.  These next polishes are apart of the Monster High Collection.  They are like a new version of Barbies! lol only with a lot more edge!

For Save a Tree - Eat a Fly, I used 3 coats along with Clearly on Top by KBShimmer.

This is such a fun green jelly, that it almost does remind me of slime!  However, it is easy to apply and lots of glitter, so you get a fun mix on each nail!  Love the butterfly glitter and black, lime, and pink pieces!

PLUS, this glows in the dark!!  I was sad I didn't get a better picture, but it still looks so cool!

Close up!  All the little green and lime green glitters look so awesome in this!

Next, OH MY RA!

I started with 1 coat of OPI Barefoot in Barcelona.

I wanted this beautiful polish to stand out over the neutral, so I did 1 coat of OH MY RA! over top and finished with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  I love the picture of the Monster High doll.

The gold and teal are beautiful together and that gold shimmer throughout is stunning!

Close up!

Next, Gossip Ghoul.

For Gossip Ghoul, I used 2 coats and topped with Clearly on Top.  I did dab a few glitters here and there, so it was two thick coats.

SO many gorgeous glitters in this light purple jelly base!  Love the stars and circles and squares all together!

Close up!

And finally, we have Ghoul Power, which is a Limited Edition.   It is a thermal, glow-in-the-dark. Unfortunately, this is sold out right now, but the good news is that Jade will be bringing it back once more!  After that though, it will be gone, so don't wait!!! This first picture is cold.

For Ghoul Power, I used 2 coats along with Clearly on Top by KBShimmer.  You can see it starting to warm up.

This purple pink jelly with stars and holographic glitters turns clear when warm!

Amazing, isn't it!?  I swear, I'm like a 5 year old with this stuff!  How can you not be amazed!?

This next picture survived my crazy phone, so I did that for the close up too because I broke my ring finger nail yesterday! haha I wonder if you guys would have noticed the stars moving when scrolling through the pictures ;-) lol!!!

And here is the glow in the dark!!!!  So fun and I was glad I could capture it!

Close ups!

Such a pretty mix!  I love the iridescent purple/blue glitters too!

Close up!

And this is True Love Forever.

I started with two coats of Cult Nails Kiss My Rose Bush and 1 coat of True Love Forever, and topped with Clearly on Top by KBShimmer.

I love the dusting of shimmery glitter through the base, along with the mix of reds, pinks, and light pinks!  And the circle glitters are gorgeous with the squares and hexes.

Guest Post from Dani - From Polish, with Love

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share a guest post from Dani of From Polish, with Love! She is a sweetheart and I love to chat with her!! I'll be guest posting on her blog soon, so I'll make sure to let you know when ;-)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi guys! I'm so excited to be over here at Crystal's Crazy Combos today! She is my first guest blog post!!! I was super flattered when she extended the invite to me since I've been following her ever since I started blogging and I look up to her! She is pretty much responsible for every indie purchase I've made due to her fabulous swatches and reviews!
I have a blog called From Polish, with Love and I do everything from swatches and reviews to nail art and some makeup looks!! I'm a SAHM to an almost 2 /12 year old little boy and currently expecting baby boy #2 any day now! I've been married to my high school sweetheart for going on 5 years now!
Today I'm showing you one of the new L'Oreal jelly polishes which is a part of their Summer 2013 Miss Candy Gelly line.
This one is Mango Mamma and was definitely the first polish out of the collection that caught my eye. It's a gorgeous bright-orange jelly that really builds beautifully! I used 4 coats in the pictures below and you can still see VNL but I actually kind of like that with this one!
I couldn't leave well enough alone so I decided to do an accent nail with Finger Paints Flashy on my ring finger from their Special Effects collection that came out in January 2012. I love how the orange flecks really bring a foil-y look to the mani! This is a perfect summer color and would be even prettier as a pedi!
Hope you all enjoyed my guest post and I hope you all have a great day!
Again, my blog is From Polish, with Love and hope you enjoyed my post!!
Dani of From Polish, with Love
Orange is going to be big for Summer I think! Love this mani! Thank you so much, Dani!!!
Have a great day!
Much Love,
KBShimmer Announces Release of Nine New Polishes
KBShimmer Summer Polish Line Set For Release June 1st, 2013
KBShimmer is excited to announce the addition of 9 new colors to their 3-Free glitter polish line and an expansion to their nail prep line. Owner Christy Rose says “With warm weather and sandals popping up, June is the perfect time for bright, bold colors and patriotic themes to celebrate a fun and exciting summer.”
The summer lineup includes one glitter top coat, two glitter crellys in a white base and six bright, bold polishes, two in a matte finish. KBShimmer will also be expanding their nail care line to include two scented cuticle oils and liquid nail prep. “Our new line was created to play off the bolder palette of summer, some inspired by the 80’s and 90s, but also to celebrate the patriotic season. One of our polishes plays off the color of the year, Emerald Green, and will ease people into the summer while two others were inspired by the fall 2013 Pantone colors Koi and Vivacious. Both will make for an easy transition through the summer and into the fall. We are also excited to unveil two scented cuticle oils in an easy-applicator pen. We hope to inspire and motivate people to go out in the sun and show off their nails!” says Rose.
Cuticula - Tender Lavender Care T.L.C.
Hello Everyone!!  I show a lot of nail polish here on the blog, but today I have something a little different!  Cuticle Oil is a huge part of being a blogger!  And even to just keep the hands looking nice, I highly recommend a cuticle oil to everyone to help dry cuticles, but also to help promote healthy nail growth.  Kristin, of rainysunraynails on Etsy, contacted me to review Cuticula cuticle oil!
I received the Tender Lavender Care (FOUND HERE).  I fell in love with the beautiful packaging and easy to use bottle!   There are two other kinds, Sugared Orange Appeal and Oh, Snap.  Each are $8.50.
There is a roller ball and it lets out just the right amount!  This is .5 fl oz.
Love the little booklet!
The bottle is just beautiful, isn't it!?  I love flower in it!
Here is an ugly before picture!  Now, I use acetone to remove sometimes and it can be very drying!  Plus my nails tend to peel (probably because I don't use cuticle oil enough!).
Here is right after I applied using the roll on and haven't rubbed it in yet.
Here is immediately after I've rubbed it in.  I love that it is non greasy, and the scent is wonderful.  When I think of lavender, I always associate it with a strong scent.  It can sometimes bother me, so I was beyond thrilled with the hint that was subtle and clean, floral smelling.
I took these pictures when I received this and have continued to use this over the last couple of weeks.  I was impressed with the immediate results, and each time I use it I love it even more.  It definitely seems to make my cuticles look healthy each time.
