Dollish Polish Blogiversary Giveaway! (Closed)

Hi everyone!!! Today I'm TWO blog years old!!! I'm so excited!!! Just sorry I haven't been here as much over the last few months!! I miss it so much!  Hopefully you saw my update -HERE.

I wanted to do a lil somethin somethin for you guys, because you all mean so very much!!  You guys give me a reason to keep up this hobby!  Winter has been rough on these cuticles, but I'm going to try to take better care and try a new polish every few days.

So how about a quick look back to my first post~!  You can see it - HERE.  It's funny to critique my old work!  I feel as though I've improved, so that's good haha! :-D

Anyway! I'm excited to say that I have a few beauties from Dollish Polish to giveaway.  One winner will win 3 Full Size Dollish Polishes: Purple Nurples, Space, The Final Frontier HYPERDRIVE, and It's So Fluffy, I'm Gonna Die!  These are just three of my faves!  You can purchase Dollish Polish at HERE at DollishPolish.com or through HERE at Llarowe.  You can also stay up to date on information by following Dollface22772 (Dollish Polish) on Facebook and Llarowe on Facebook.  Both are also on Twitter - @DollishPolish & @llarowe  and Instagram - @Dollface22772 & @llarowe.

First up, Purple Nurples.

I used 3 coats along with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  I love the purple jelly filled with these amazing glitters!

Close up!  The mix of glitters is stunning, plus that flaky iridescence! Drool!

And since I'm home on a snow today today (one perk of this awful weather!), I ran outside quick to snag a couple pictures in the bright sun!  It's the perfect light box with all this snow hahahaha :-P

And I was thinking that it'd be awesome to matte this, but then forgot midway removing it (whoops), so two nails only...but this was the 3 coats with KBShimmer Clearly on Top, and I added 1 coat of Essie Matte About You. Stunning, right?

Next up, we have Space, The Final Frontier HYPERDRIVE.  This is amazing.  I kick myself for not trying this sooner.  I put it on last night knowing I bought one for the giveaway and needed to swatch it.  I have no idea why I never put it on sooner, because I couldn't even take it off last night!  I have a ton to swatch and I was drooling looking at this in different lighting!  So these first few are light box.

This is a great picture you can start to see some holo faintly!

Here are some sun pics!

If you noticed, the giveaway version is slightly different.  I have an older batch that materials are no longer available.  The new version is stunning though!  Check out these gorgeous comparison pictures!

And finally, It's So Fluffy, I'm Gonna Die!

You can see my original review of this - HERE!  This is two coats with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Such a gorgeous pink!  So many different glitters make this amazing in person.

See that close up!?  Yes...it is just beautiful, isn't it?!

Christmas Now by KBShimmer & I!

Press Sample

Hello all of my lovelies!!! Oh how it has been so long!  I had planned, and still might, make an update post for what happened the last few months!  It's basically that my life got really stressful, but things are finally calming down and I'm getting comfortable in my new routine with work and commuting!  I'm trying to get back into things now - slowly, but surely.  I've missed blogging too much!

I did want to quick show you my collaboration polish that I did with Christy of KBShimmer!  It releases tomorrow and you can purchase it at http://kbshimmer.com/ (US) and also at http://www.harlowandco.org/ (Shipping is FREE for orders over $50 within Canada and to the US, if you're international shipping is FREE on orders over $75 (but not more than $300)).

Christmas Now has been a saying in our house for a few years now.  It stemmed from my impatience to be able to wait until Christmas for present time!  I love getting presents, don't get me wrong!  I mean, who doesn't, right?  But I'm just as bad about GIVING gifts.  I get so excited and I just want people to open it right now.  Right. This. Second.

So it's become a joke every year as I begin to want to give everyone their gifts early.  Plus it's Mr. CC's birthday in December, so it's extra surprises all month long!  That doesn't sound so bad, right?

So as you've seen, I put text in the pictures of how many coats and what not.  I figured it's less repeating myself and easier to quickly see.  Hope that helps.  I used KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish each mani.  I recommend 2 coats for a perfectly smooth finish!  There's a ton of glitter in here ;-)

Next, I wanted to show the versatility of Christmas Now!  Since it's a jelly, there are so many fun ways to wear it!  Layering is a perfect way to change the look.  Here a foil base reminds me of Christmas wrapping paper!!

I can't wait to try other bases.  Of course, white will make it look bright green and a regular green will just reduce the amount of coats you'll need.  That way you can determine if you want a little glitter or a lot!

For lots of glitter, 3 coats looks so awesome!

I love how the glitter is suspended throughout the green base!  I asked Christy to do a happy bright green jelly and she nailed it perfectly!  I wanted gold stars like on top of the tree, along with round glitters like the ornaments and squares like the presents under the tree!  I couldn't be happier with how my vision was turned into reality!  :-D

It is SO amazing to see this day arrive!  Thanks again to Christy for this amazing opportunity!

KBShimmer can be found Facebook to keep up on new collection release photos, blogger photos, and shop updates. There are 11 polishes in the Blogger 2013 Collection!  You can also sign up to receive e-mails from KBShimmer, HERE!  Also, KBShimmer is on Instagram and Twitter as @KBShimmer!  Keep up on restock info for Harlow & Co. on Facebook.   Christmas Now (as well as the rest of the Blogger 2013 Collection and Winter 2013 Collection) release tomorrow and you can purchase it at http://kbshimmer.com/ (US) and also at http://www.harlowandco.org/ (Shipping is FREE for orders over $50 within Canada and to the US, if you're international shipping is FREE on orders over $75 (but not more than $300)).

I've swatched almost all of the rest of the Blogger collection!  I hope to show that to you all soon!  Happy almost Friday!

Much Love,
Crystal

Black Luna Nail Lacquer!

Hello Everyone!!  I'm so happy we got our power back yesterday after the storm on Monday!  It was a quick storm, but it effected a lot of towns!  Many didn't have power like us, and I'm just thankful we were only out of power for a day! Sometimes bad storms put us out a lot longer!  After driving yesterday, I saw a lot of trees uprooted!  It is quite scary!  Below is a couple blocks away.  I just ask that you keep those with damage in your thoughts and prayers!  I'm feeling very fortunate to not have had any devastation from the storm!

Isn't it amazing what nature can do with a quick little burst of wind?  On a lighter note, I'm so excited to share some Black Luna Nail Lacquer swatches with you today!  I was sent these for review and it was my first time trying this brand.  I love the colors I was sent and the formula was great for all three!

You can purchase Black Luna Nail Lacquer at http://blacklunalacquer.storenvy.com/ and also can stay up to date on Facebook and Instagram - @blacklunalacquer.

First up, we have Comet.

For Comet, I used 2 coats along with Wicked Fast by Cult Nails.

What a perfect creation in time for the 4th of July!!  I absolutely love the white squares in this too!  I like that it has a hint of sheerness to see them.

Close up!

Next up, Bright Lights Holo Top Coat.

I was feeling like an office type mani, with a bit of sparkle.  I started with 2 coats of OPI Barefoot in Barcelona.

I then added 1 coat of Bright Lights.  My light box doesn't play nice with holo :-(

So I used the bedroom lighting.  I'm sorry it makes my skin look crazy, but look at that HOLO!!

I wore this to work for meetings and couldn't stop staring at my nails while typing. hehe

A beautiful holo top coat!  If you don't have one of these, I highly recommend it!  It makes any polish holo by layering it.  Part of the fun is finding new combos!  I really love these two together and will be wearing them again!

Close up - light box!

Close up - bedroom lighting.

Last, but not least, we have Forbidden Fruit.

For Forbidden Fruit, I used 2 coats along with Wicked Fast by Cult Nails.

What a gorgeous neon green!  And the name is too cute.  Again, my light box didn't really play nice with the gorgeous holo glitters in this!

Here is the bedroom lighting to show off the sparkles!

Close up!

I hope you enjoyed this look at Black Luna Lacquer!  I am so glad I had the opportunity to try these!  Her shop has lots of beautiful creations, so I recommend checking it out!  In case you missed above, you can purchase Black Luna Nail Lacquer at http://blacklunalacquer.storenvy.com/ and also can stay up to date on Facebook and Instagram - @blacklunalacquer.

Hope you have a great day!!

Much Love,
Crystal
