Imperial Nail Lacquer- Cupcake

Hello!! Today I have one of my favorite colors - a white with glitters!! This beauty is from Imperial Nail Lacquer and is called Cupcake!  And it does look just like frosting with sprinkles - I want to eat it up!!  You can check out Imperial Nail Lacquer on Etsy.  You can find Cupcake listed for $5 for a mini, or you can request a full size for $9.

I love the different types and sizes of glitters.  The bright colors make this look happy like a celebration to me!  Then mixed with the creamy white base, you can see the layers of glitter!

For this mani, I used 3 coats of Cupcake with 1 coat of Wicked Fast top coat by Cult Nails.  The polish applied very well, but I recommend letting it sit upside for a minute to grab some of the bigger glitters!  Most came out without a problem though.  I love how you never know what you'll get on the brush when you dip into a glitter polish!  No two nails will look the same and it gives such a fun look!

I love this bottle shot!! it looks like candies and sprinkles!! YUM! ;-)

And here is a close up.  The formula is nice and smooth!  Overall I really loved the colors in this white glitter!!! They are bright and with the white look creamy when applied!

I have more reviews coming from this shop!! I can't wait to share them with you!  Hope you enjoyed Cupcake!!  Make sure you head over to Etsy to check out more of Kelly's amazing polishes at Imperial Nail Lacquer.  She has a couple new Halloween ones that look amazing!!

Hope you have a great day!
Much Love,
Crystal

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello to all the lovely readers of Crystal's Crazy Combos! I am super excited to be here today! Crystal and I started blogging around the same time and became fast friends on twitter. She always posts the most amazing indie swatches and makes me lem like ALL of them! I decided to go with a very pink subtle manicure for you today. Sometimes people ask me where I get my inspiration from and it literally can happen from anything. For this particular manicure I got the idea from a post it note.
I won a giveaway and when I received the winnings it included this awesome post it! I tacked it up onto my bulletin board and then did created an interpretation of the design onto my nails. I used two coats of China Glaze Hang-Ten Toes which is from the Summer Neon Collection. I completely love this polish. It has some subtle shimmer and the pink is just gorgeous. Then I grabbed a pink/purple  striper from the Color Club Brights Striper Set and started drawing the designs. I also used a dotting tool to create the dots. I added the 3mm rhinestones to give the design a little pizzaz.
I really liked the pink on pinkness of these nails. It is really subtle and beautiful in my opinion! The rhinestones just gave it that extra pop! that I was looking for when I was doing these. I completely love the feeling of having something 3D on my nails. I can never stop feeling them lol.
Do you like doing subtle designs? This is my first one in awhile and I think I'm really digging the look! Have you tried subtle designs yourself? In what colour combinations?
Thank you SO MUCH to Crystal for asking me to guest post :D
Hope you are all having a great day!
Stephanie of Sincerely Stephanie
KBShimmer Fall Collection 2012: Part 2
Hello!! Today I have 3 more KBShimmer polishes from the Fall Collection to show you! If you missed yesterday's post, you can find it, HERE!  I mentioned yesterday that I love pictures, so again, beware that there are a lot in this post too!  I think this collection is a huge hit, and will definitely be getting the other two on 9/1 to make this collection complete!
I realize this will be just like yesterday's post, but I want to make sure you have all the correct info again for purchasing!! ;-) Christy, the shop owner, has put together a little FAQ for the Fall Release that you can check out HERE. You can also check out her Facebook to keep up on new collection release photos, blogger photos, and shop updates. You can also sign up to receive e-mails from KBShimmer, HERE!
For purchasing, you can check out KBShimmer's shop on Etsy, or the direct website, http://kbshimmer.com/, selling at $8.50 each. These two sites only ship within the US. If you are international, you will be able to purchase these Fall Colors at Harlow & Co. - KBShimmer for $9.00, which are releasing on 9/1/12! Keep up on restock info for Harlow & Co. on Facebook. And did you know that if you spend over $50 at Harlow & Co., that shipping is free - EVERYWHERE!? Trust me, it is easy to spend $50 with all the goodies she sells! It's actually harder to take things out of the cart...hehe ;-)
I think that covers everything, so lets see these other beauties coming for Fall!!
First up we have Don't Teal Anyone!  These names kill me, lol!  They are so cute.  But of course they are amazing polishes to back up their names!  I mean this combo of colors is just beautiful!  The base is jelly-like so you can see the depth of the glitters below.  It's not completely a jelly though because it still has a bit of a cream to it.  I love that!  I used 2 coats with Wicked Fast top coat by Cult Nails.  I actually looked through my collection and I didn't have any colors to match this teal.  I really want this color by itself too because it is a gorgeous shade!
KBShimmer's Description:  Don't Teal Anyone - A deep teal base with, gold, teal blue, and fuchsia hexes in several sizes, and micro fuchsia bars.
Next we have No Whine Left.  Mmmm I love wine :-)  And I love this beautiful plum color - very Fall like!  At first I wanted to call it maroon, but after reading KBShimmer's description, plum is the perfect way to describe this!  I used 2 coats with Seche Vite top coat.  I love the little bursts of color that stand out in this!  It's fun, yet still has an elegance to it with the richness of the base color.  This base is more creamy that the other two today, but it is still very glossy.
KBShimmer's Description:  No Whine Left - I deep plum color with blue, fuchsia, and purple hex glitters in several sizes. The glitters in this polish seem to pop out in different lights, adding a fun depth to it.
Last but not least is Jack.  How cute is this for Halloween!!!!  I used 3 coats with Seche Vite top coat.  I just love the depth in this one!  And the orange glitters really shine through, making it almost glow (like a Jack-O-Lantern!? lol is that Cheesy? hehe).  I really love the bar glitters that KBShimmer uses, as they really add to the polishes but aren't big and overpowering.  I also sometimes have problems getting bar glitter to behave and stay down, but that wasn't the case with any of the KBShimmer polishes.
KBShimmer's Description:  Jack - A black jelly with orange hex glitters in several sizes and micro orange bars. Black hexes and shreds complete this polish.
So that's all folks!!  There are two other colors in this awesome collection, so make sure to check out http://kbshimmer.com/ and http://www.harlowandco.org/ for purchasing details and to see all the colors!  I hope you enjoyed my look at this upcoming collection :-)
I hope you all have a wonderful day and weekend!!   I have a wedding tomorrow...I think I need to plan a hot mani to match my little red dress!!!
Much Love,
Crystal
