Pretty & Polished - New Releases!

Hello Everyone!  I am so glad it's Friday!  Is anyone else amazed that it's already June?  And this week flew by!  Hopefully the whole summer isn't that way!

I'm excited to review for you some of the new items coming out from Pretty & Polished today!!!  I love that Chels, the owner, keeps coming up with new items like sugar scrubs and bath bombs!!

You can purchase Pretty & Polished on Etsy or Pretty & Polished on My Shopify. You can also find out more information, upcoming collection information, along with swatches on Pretty & Polished - Facebook, on Twitter @prettynpolish, on Instagram @prettyandpolishd and at http://www.prettynpolish.com/. I highly recommend taking a look around, as Pretty & Polished always has awesome creations and an amazing formula!

First up, let's talk about these new sugar scrubs!

I was able to try Candied Cherries, Blue Raspberry, and Coffee Junkie sugar scrubs.  These are deliciously scented!!

The Blue Raspberry smells just like blue raspberry flavored candy with it's sweet scent!  The Candied Cherries is also sweet like candy!  Coffee Junkies is delicious like fresh coffee beans, when you walk past the bags at the grocery store or in Starbucks! Yum!

So using acetone had really dried out my hands, as it usually does.  I hate sharing these types of pictures, lol! I guess it's only fair though!  Gardening has been not so good for the nails!

I took a small dab.  You can use more or less depending on your preference!  I like to then splash a bit of water and then rub it in really well over my hands!  Once I rinsed, my hands felt so much more moisturized and soft!

I love how in one use it cleaned up my mess!  They aren't perfect, but I think it's a lot better!  Plus the smell is amazing!  These scrubs will be perfect on feet, elbows, and knees!

Next up, some awesome new polishes!  These next three are a limited edition Sweet Sixteen collection and are available as gift sets.  This is 16 Candles.

For 16 Candles, I used 2 coats along with Pretty & Polished Top Coat, Swift Sparkle.

I love the coral jelly with the purple, yellow, deeper coral, and pink/white matte glitters!

For To Be A Lady, I used 2 coats along with Swift Sparkle top coat.

Loving the large circle glitters with their holo shine!  And the different pink glitters and those bold dark blue glitters!

Look at these matte light pink circle glitters!!  And I love it with the soft blue jelly with the darker blue, green, and purple!  This is such a beautiful combo!

Also releasing, Miss Independent.

For Miss Independent, I used 2 coats along with Swift Sparkle top coat.

Red circle glitters in two sizes, along with blue squares in two sizes - and all in a white base!?? Hello perfect patriotic mani!  This is gorgeous!

For all these manis, I used the Swift Sparkle top coat by Pretty & Polished.  It was my first time using and I'm so far loving it!  I'll keep using it and let you guys know, but my initial thoughts are good!  It is a quick dry and does have a beautiful shine!  I apply it a little thick, but it seems to go on like butter and look perfect!   Overall, very happy with it and will continue testing it!

  1. LOVE these polish colors! How difficult was the application? Fishing/dabbing? Your swatches didn't show any color under her polishes, right?
