piCture pOlish Amethyst by Star Trinkets

 

Hello Everyone!!  Have you seen this beauty yet?!?!  This was created by Susan of Star Trinkets, which is based in Singapore.  Check out her shop for other awesome polishes, including some of her own creations (that are stunning!).  You can also find her on Facebook and on her blog, The Subtle Shimmer.  Susan is such a sweetheart! She always has kind comments that brighten my day!! :-)

She worked with piCture pOlish (http://www.picturepolish.com.au/) to create this beauty for a Collaboration Shades series (all of the colors are beautiful and you can see them HERE), which is a purple version of Denim (which I will compare below).  I absolutely love my Denim, so when I heard about this, I thought it was genious!  And guess what, I think I love Amethyst more than Denim...shhhh don't tell....hehe

I used 2 coats, that applied perfectly, with 1 coat of Wicked Fast top coat by Cult Nails.  I love the blue shimmer that you can see below in one of the blurred pictures!  And those flakies!?  This polish is gorgeous - with the perfect purple hue.  I will let you enjoy the pictures.

When we asked Susan about her shade she said 'how about purple denim' so that is what has been fashioned! A stunningly beautiful blend of textures and glitters so really what more could a girl ask for? Well according to past history people believed amethyst crystals guarded against getting drunk so perhaps keeping a bottle in your handbag is a good thing!

 

 

 

 

Ok, so how different are these two you ask?  Well they are essentially the same idea, but the the colors are where you get your difference.  If you love Denim like I do, I highly suggest Amethyst because the purple is just beautiful with the mix.  Even if you hate Denim, I'm pretty sure this purple is too amazing to pass up.  Hopefully my pictures will sway you ;-) haha

 

This is two coats of each topped with Wicked Fast by Cult Nails.  I really even just liked the mani like this lol :-)  They are like long lost sisters or something...they belong together :-D haha

 

 

 

 

 

I just love taking a closer look.  See why you need both?  But if you honestly only wanted one, I think Amethyst wins my vote...even after being so dedicated to Denim, I just LOVE this purple!!!!
