Cult Nails Divas and Drama Collection

Happy Thursday everyone!  Today I have the new collection from Cult Nails!!  This is called the Divas and Drama Collection, including Seduction (Limited Edition), Enticing, Scandalous, and Manipulative.  You can purchase this set, HERE for $40 plus shipping.  They are also listed individually for $10 each plus shipping.  A fun way to see what's coming if to follow Cult Nails on Facebook!  You can find the page HERE.  Recently, they reached 5,000 fans and had an appreciation sale for polishes at $5 each!  So keep an eye because they do have specials sometimes ;-)

Also, Maria, the owner, has her own blog where she gives sneak peeks, posts outfits of the day, and much more!  You can see her preview of Divas and Drama collection, HERE.

Just to warn you, this post is seriously pic heavy.  I tend to post a lot of pictures anyway, but this is probably a record or something! LOL

First up is Seduction.  There are still bottles available, but if you like this, I wouldn't wait!  Once these are gone, you will have missed out!  This is a purple base with orange and blue flakies.  The flakies do shift some in the bottle, but it isn't as noticeable on the nail.  These pictures are 3 coats with no top coat.

Next we have Enticing.  This is a sheer light pink with a subtle white shimmer through it.  I did have a tad bit of trouble because I wasn't waiting long enough between coats, but that was more my quickly swatching while the sun was up!  Since you do want it to apply evenly, I suggest waiting a good amount of time between coats.  These pictures are 3 coats, with no top coat.  Oh!  And please ignore the slight bump on my middle finger, I could not get it to smooth out! lol!

I forgot to layer so I ended up going through all the other colors then back to Enticing.  Again, I was impatient and that's why this seriously doesn't look like I want it to - but when I take the time next time to do this, I'm sure it will be gorgeous!  This is 1 coat of Seduction over Enticing, no top coat.

Next up is Scandalous.  This is a creamy orange jelly that applies extremely well!  It is sheer, so it probably will be fun for layering or glitter sandwiches - YUM!  For the pictures, I applied 3 coats with no top coat.  It is SO glossy!  I love it.

Then I actually remembered to layer 1 coat of Seduction over Scandalous! lol I love how versatile Seduction is!  I can't wait to play more with it!!

And last, but certainly not least, is Manipulative!  This is a gorgeous mint green with a gorgeous shimmer.  The shimmer is almost a white, light green.  If you look close, you can see all of the little sparkles dancing around.  It was named after a trip Maria took based on the water at the beach.  I love that!!  The pictures are 3 coats with no top coat.  I definitely could have stopped at 2, but because I wanted to show you pictures without the top coat, I went for 3 to make sure it was all smoothed out!! ;-)  I really love this one!  I actually wore it in yesterday's blog post under Rustic Remains - the two were an unlikely pair, but turned out amazing!  I see myself reaching for this one all the time!

And here is 1 coat of Seduction over Manipulative, with no top coat.  I love how it changes to sort of a blue color together!  See?!  Seduction is amazing.  Actually, the whole collection really is.  That is why I usually pre-buy the collections because I know that the quality will be there!  I love that about Cult Nails!

I hope I didn't tire you out with all these pictures, but it's so hard for me to only show a few when the colors are this awesome.  Plus some of them change depending on the lighting, so it's a good way for you guys to see them before purchasing! ;-)  Right?  I will tell myself that hehe, that way I won't have to choose which are my favorite!

I hope you have a great day!  The weekend is SO close!!! :-D

Much Love,
Crystal

  4. Thank you for posting these great swatches! I think this is the first place I have seen a good swatch of Seduction not layered over something else. That one is so pretty! I wonder how long I have to order a second bottle before they are all gone...
