Not Too Polished - Bone and The House of Black & White

Hello!!! Today I have a combo using two gorgeous colors by Not Too Polished!!  For the past two days, I got home from the gym and was ready for swatching!  However, the sun thought otherwise and disappeared on me as soon as I had my nails painted!! So I apologize that Bone has no sun pics :-(  But The House of Black & White I managed to get a couple because it peeked back out for a bit before going down!

Bone is simply stunning.  I honestly don't know what else to say.  It is such an elegant nude, I can see myself wearing this all the time!!  I think it would flatter just about any skin tone, just because of it's creamy beige color.  It would blend nicely with the lighter skin tones and pop with darker skin.  I wasn't sure if I could pull it off since I am so fair, but it really gave me a simple, clean look!  It has just the right about of white in it that it is noticeable, but it isn't stark.  It is named perfectly, because it does remind me of the bones on one of those skeletons you see in classrooms! lol

I used 2 coats along with Seche Vite top coat.  I applied a thinner coat first, then went with the thicker second coat.  Sometimes with creams, they can be hard to apply, so make sure to use even brush strokes and press lightly, letting the polish apply itself with very little pressure.  I try not to go over an area more than once, because that can cause streaking too.  This happens for a lot of creams for me, but I think this evened out well at 2 coats.  Seche Vite also smooths it out for a flawless look.

Next I applied 1 coat of The House of Black & White with another coat of Seche Vite.  This is such a fun glitter top coat!  I loved the look of this over Bone!  It gave me the impression of salt and pepper! :-)  There are small white and black glitters along with large black and holographic hexagons.  The base is also dusted with holographic particles that catch the light brilliantly.  The subtle shimmer and shine of the holographic glitters really make this polish special!  The black hexagons remind me of spots :-)

I am aware that some of my polishes have had issues in the past, and I am working on contacting all buyers of the problematic polishes to fix them. Please know that customer satisfaction is my biggest concern. I use high quality suspension base in all my glitters. My polishes contain only stainless steel- NOT zinc coated- mixing beads. And my glitters undergo a rigorous testing process. If you are EVER unsatisfied with a polish, please contact me for replacement or exchange- I want you to be completely happy with your Not Too Polished colors!

I really enjoyed these two colors, and loved how they looked together too!  I can't wait to use these with other combinations as well!  I hope you enjoyed this Indie brand!  This has been a new one for me and I can't wait to try other shades!  There are so many in the shop that catch my eye!

Have a great day!

Much Love,
Crystal
